We are located in a 4 story renovated brownstone on famed restaurant row in New York City and a welcoming staple in the neighborhood for 34 years! We have 3 distinctly different floors for service. 1-Original Tavern, 2-Bettibar, & 3-The Top of the Glass-a
Such a plethora of eateries in the Hell's Kitchen area that we were really struggling to choose. This looked unusual and cosy, and had some locals eating inside (a hopeful sign after being harangued by some of the promoters of the "tourist menus".Fantastic find! On the ground floor it is like a cosy pub - but you can see the chef cooking/flambe -ing etc. Huge wine choice. Excellent veggie choice. Really cheerful staff (even suggested to my daughter to go and turn the hourglass upstairs!) -delicious and inexpensive meals.

American cocktail bar in a prohibition setting. Great food - and a kitchen open late (2:00AM) every night!
Four of us for a late lunch on a Friday. Place wasn't empty, but it wasn't jammed either. We got stuffed into a small table pressed up against two walls that was hard to get into and out of. Service was slower than we'd have expected given that it wasn't that busy, but she was friendly and helpful. The food was very good and the beer selection was broad, so it was generally a good stop. Next time, we'd ask for a different table.

Forget 'casual dining.' That's an industry term so out of touch with how consumers eat and drink today. For premium quality and style; fare that's at times familiar and other times adventurous and a laid-back modern setting, Houlihan's is a true original.
Being a veggie, went here for the impossible burger. It was very good.Service good be improved. One of my companions ordered a burger without some items and it came with. When complained taken away and then a turkey burger was delivered which wasn't what was ordered.Appreciate you taking the time to leave us your feedback. If there's ever a concern with your visit, feel free to speak with our management team. We're happy to help! - Ag

We visited the Press Lounge for my birthday - came to the lobby at 9pm and they had a printed sign saying it was closed for a private event till 8.30pm, then crossed off by hand and extended till 9.30pm. Unprofessional. We therefore went and had a drink in the lobby bar and actually had ok service. We then went at 9:30pm to line up to the lounge. The security officer in charge was extremely unfriendly, rude and unhelpful. He needs service training. He was making inappropriate gestures that the lounge was not open yet, was uncooperative and unhelpful. How about explain politely that there was a further delay in the opening. Instead of saying I am sorry it will take a little longer he would just be extremely rude and tell everyone to go away and stand somewhere else. People were getting offended. Such a wrong start. In the lounge itself the bartenders are not very friendly either. Great views but brace yourself for terrible attitude. So unnecessary.

The Mean Fiddler is a family run Irish bar and restaurant in the Theater district providing Irish/American food with a twist and a full craft cocktail menu. Our most popular dishes are our take on the classic Fish & Chip's, Shepherd's Pie, Fiddler Burger
Very good, fairly priced food and great serviceâand in the theater district, yet. If you are a couple or a foursome, you can walk right inâplenty of tables. We had traditional Irish meals, but the guacamole was excellent, and Iâm sure the Mexican fare was, as well. Our Irish waitress was adorable and attentive.

A West Coast-style, French-fryless burger shack that attracts a deservedly cultish following.
Stopped in here to grab a burger before seeing a show at Lincoln Center. The Hells Kitchen location is very small maybe 6 booths and some seats at the bar. Got the cowboy burger, sourdough bread, bbq sauce, cheddar, sautéed onions and bacon. Good burger ok fries. I like that they bring out the ingredients and you can put the amount you want on if you want a lot of onions or a little bit of onions it's your choice.

Nice atmosphere in this restaurant, you find something on the menu for meat lovers and vegetarians. We took a burger with frites and it was very good. The only thing I didnât like was the fact that we hardly had our last bite and the bill was already presented. I understand you want to serve a maximum of people, but this was not customer friendly.

Since the launch of Jacobs Pickles on the Upper West Side of NY in late 2011, the Pickles team has been committed to sharing their love for food and community. âEverything we do is about bringing good food to good peopleâ, says Jacob. âI couldnât find thi
Went here for lunch; this is a high energy place that emphasizes southern-style dishes (and craft pickles of course). We were seated promptly and the service was quick and smooth. Portions are huge as others have mentioned. I thought the chicken, pickles etc were decent, but not to die for. And the place is really loud....not modern restaurant loud...but âIâm standing next to the speaker at the clubâ loud. You literally have to shout to have a conversation. I guess thatâs the way they like it but really, Iâm just trying to eat and talk here.....Overall its not bad, Iâd go back if invited but the noise level is really excessive IMHO.
