This was convenient to our hotel around the corner and our group of 4 stopped in for a late bite to eat on a Saturday night. We were seated promptly. Our server was pleasant and attentive. Our drinks came quickly and our food was prepared as ordered. A recent Vegetarian, I found no vegetarian meals on the menu, which was a little disappointing. I opted for a Shrimp Pad Thai without the Shrimp. It was tasty but not really enough of a meal to be truly satisfying.

While convenient, I don't think the buffet is worth the $18.00 per person price. The selection of eggs, sausage, bacon, potatoes and French toast, along with fruit, muffins and beverages sounded good, the food kept running out and not having a self serve beverage set up did not help the situation. The place is small and was quite crowded which may be why we had a less than desirable meal.

Couldnât be more pleased eating here on a Saturday afternoon with family.. all food was excellent from appetizers to dessert including both red and white and blue sangria. Service and timing impeccable, portions so large plenty to share or take home. Fresh salad or soup served with entrees not to mention sides of green beans, carrots and Spanish potatoes. Nice selection of desserts, could have enjoyed more than one.

Other than decor and food presentation, everything else was a disappointment. Everything we ordered was less than satisfactory. Grilled octopus was overcooked. Raw bar wasnât shucked off the shell. Snapper was bland, etc. I had really high hopes due to previous reviews but was highly overwhelmed.

We had dinner there last night, the ambiance is warm and quiet, a nice place to bring friends and family where you can have a delicious meal and great conversation. The service was impeccable, food was wonderful. Try the homemade desserts, they are worth the extra calories!The entire staff here at C. Good place, but still privy to the original Thistle back in Kearny, NJ...never understood why they moved to Lyndhurst. Food is/has always been good. but not known for its portion size. It feels like the lunch-portions have become the dinner-size portions. I would rather they increase their price to increase the portion size. Regardless, if you enjoy battered fish w/ vinegar chips, this is the place for a visit. Also, decent lunch specials. Enjoy.
