Mexican grocery with open kitchen and three tables but it's mainly a take out joint. Incredible authentic mexican food with large menu, great prices and nice portions. All the traditional stuff plus cemitas, sopas, traditional Quesedillas de Maize and daily specials. They have a really authentic "Sabado y Domingo" menu that they prepare and serve weekends only.
This restaurant is located in front of the Count Basie Theater. It has delicious American and Mexican food!
First, the place is right across the street from Count Basie Theatre. Second, it is well decorated, clean, moderate size restaurant. Third, the food comes in good portion sizes. Fourth, the food is delicious. The staff is very friendly. Highly recommended. Will return!

Waited 15 minutes after being seated before anyone offered water or a drink. Then two servers came by within 30 seconds of each other to take drink orders. Food took forever to arrive and despite server advising to be careful as plate was extremely hot, the inside of the tamale was cold. Entire entree had a rancid taste, all I ate were the rice and beans. Staff didn't seem to be organized, didn't seem to know who was doing what. Servers ran to the door to play hostess, while everyone else ran around duplicating what had already been done. One positive note was awesome guacamole

Linos on west side of Red Bank is a terrific find for well prepared Mexican food. Quesadilla was crisp and tasty, but the best choice is the half or whole barbequed chicken. It was fresh, hot, well seasoned and very tender. Rice and beans, salad and french fries came with it. plenty of good food at very reasonable prices. This place is a winner.

If you're looking for a small, local place that offers something "different" for lunch give Senor Pepper a shot. Our group of 10 posed no problem. Tables were shifted and everyone seated quickly. The menu was very diverse and incredibly inexpensive! Our waitress was more than helpful! She answered every question and made recommendations to those in our group who were unfamiliar with Mexican cuisine. Our meals were prepared in the open kitchen to order with fresh ingredients and served together. Portions were more than adequate. The cascadillas, salads, and burritos were first rate. Even those in our group who had not tried Mexican cuisine before are looking to returning.

Certainly busy and popular on a Friday night. Service was ok if not without any personality. Tampiqueno special was tasty although the cut of steak was tough it was tasty. The enchilada served with it was outstanding. Friends had enchiladas and fajitas which were plentiful. Chips come unsalted and salsa could be better due to the food being so good. Overall enjoyable.

Located miles from the beach but with a relaxed beach decor this restaurant has a good mixed menu. A bowl of nacho chips is a standard. The staff were very friendly and knowledgeable. We had the soft shell crab and the short ribs sandwich both specials. Very delicious and well prepared. It was a nice day so the outdoor patio was full. Huge parking. Great lunch experience.
