Had just come into the area and checked into the hotel. Wanted to grab something for dinner and this Applebee's was close to the hotel. I have always enjoyed these locations and don't really remember having a bad experience until now. Walked in and was greeted not immediately but within an acceptable amount of time. Got seated and waited 20 minutes before the waitress even came up to me. She came up as I was pushing my chair away from the table to leave. I told her I was waiting 20 minutes and was just leaving. She says she never saw me there. Really??? Maybe she should be more attentive to the area. Decided to stay. Ordered the chicken and shrimp plate. Food was excellent, service was terrible. Never once did the waitress ever come to refill a drink, but then again she most likely did not see me. Had a call from home that prompted me to leave soon. Sat waiting form my check and never saw my waitress. Asked the hostess if she could get my waitress. She came back and said the waitress would be right there. Waited another 10 minutes and the waitress never showed. Called the hostess back again and asked if I paid at the table would I get a receipt from the table device. Her reply was I could pay at the table. I knew that, this was not my question. Asking her again she said they can print a receipt in the back. I paid on the device and it took them another almost 5 minutes to get the receipt. I did finally get more to drink and that was from the melted ice in my glass that never got refilled. Took 20 to 25 minutes to just pay the bill not counting the amount of time I sat there waiting for service. It should not take over an hour to stop at a restaurant for dinner such as this. As I mentioned at the beginning of the message the food was excellent so I am sure this is a good restaurant for you to go. I just hope you don't get the same waitress that I did.

My wife and I love Dunleavyâs! Always have. Now that our daughter is away at school, we are finding ourselves frequenting Dunleavyâs more, especially on Friday nights and Saturday nights. We love the casual atmosphere, the servers are great and we totally enjoy the good food and drinks without feeling like weâre getting price-gouged.Keep up the great work, Dunleavyâs! We love ya!

PubBar
My husband and I love Ott's in downtown Mt. Holly. The food is basically pub food, but delicious and reasonably priced. Our favorite is Taco Night (every Tuesday). Excellent soft or hard tacos for $1.00 each (minimum of 3 per order). Ott's is casual dining for singles, couples, or families. We take our children and grandchildren, and we all have a good time. Lunch is particularly enjoyable, with a very good buffet. This is a fun place to go, and we go at least once a week. Everyone is friendly and the service is good. You can't beat the value for your dollar. Try it...you'll like it!

A fun dive bar. Quite big in space with two main bars but area for karaoke and dancing or standing room to watch the big game. Stick to the basics for food as the advanced is frozen such as fish n chips. Burgers and wings are good and cheap cold beer to go with
Don't let the pub atmosphere fool you...if you like good food and spirits at a reasonable price this place is worth checking out...beer selection is great too for you craft beer lovers...very friendly and efficient staff...be warned the place is noisy but that won't stop me from coming back to this local gem!
