Been coming here for over 30 years. Food is always fresh & they don't oversalt their food. You can't go wrong with anything on the menu.

Just around the corner from the State theater. If you're looking for fancy surroundings, this is not the place. Family business with super food and quick service. Have eaten lunch there many times and is a good place for a bite before going to the State Theater.

I have been going to Highland Pizza for about 7 years now. The food that was being made here is extremely delicious and always fresh. The people who used to work there were always very polite and understanding if any changes needed to be made to an order. Unfortunately, since the place changed ownership (about 6 months or so) the customer service quality has diminished as well as the time that it takes to prepare the food has increased. I still buy the food here but it is no longer my top choice.

The carne pizza is really very good, beaten only by Franco Peppe's (we eat pizza often). The eggplant pizza was good - could do with more eggplant on it though. The large pizzas are enormous but being delicious nothing goes spare. We ordered through ubereats and wouldn't hesitate to order from them again.

Wanted a light meal before a show, at a cost effective price. Saturday night prime time prior to NJ State Theatre and it was dead. First impression....oh maybe we shouldn't! I ordered a small house salad to start and my husband to have, a small order of broccoli rabe and sausage. He said his was good. My salad was nice size, nice variety of greens and blue cheese dressing was amazing. We split a large pasta order of fettuccine carbonara was really the worst we've ever tasted. The plate looked like this: pasta, white cream, 2 inch thin slices of "deli-ham"; huge slivers of uncooked onion, and beautiful fresh peas (what?). So many chances to get this right, cook your ham, choose higher quality Italian procsuitto; onion grated or finely diced and add some zip....ZERO flavor.
