Located on Main Street in Manville near the SuperWalMart and the Manville Cinemas, this is a wonderful Chinese buffet. HUGE selection of tasty dishes, hibachi and sushi are included in their price, come before 3 PM and it's ridiculously cheap. After 3 PM, it's a bump up in pricing but still worth it. The staff is friendly and accommodating, leave a nice tip as they work for their tips. Ample parking in the area.

I love downtown Somerville, all the great places to eat and beautiful decorations this time of year. This was my first time going to Sushi Palace and I have to say I was pleasantly surprised with the quick service and delicious fresh food. The rolls were phenomenal and I even ventured out to try an eel roll! Very fun time with great friends.

Love sushi. This is by far the best and most creative sushi as well as other menu items in the area for me. It is more expensive but you won't be disappointed, Good drinks too and nice ambiance.

Great sushi, very affordable, very casual atmosphere. Somerville has a handful of sushi restaurants but this restaurant is the best value for what you get. On our last visit, for appetizer, we shared an order of edamame, shrimp shumai, and Japanese Spring rolls. For my entree, I ordered the Halloween roll, which is one of the chef's special rolls. Everything was fresh and delicious.

Restaurants are often like family. They become part of our memories because of the celebrations and events and family members we enjoy them with. Yutaka was such a place for our family. From its opening our family enjoyed so many wonderful days and nights in this wonderful authentic Japanese Sushi and Steakhouse. Our children loved having birthdays and graduations here, my husband I enjoyed date nights and anniversaries. But it's been a sad reality in the last year that Yutaka was and is in serious decline. New ownership came in last year and made wholesale changes that have removed what made this place special. The staff is very young and untrained now and the service as a result is terribly poor. The menu has been foolishly changed to remove many items that were staples and made Yutaka's reputation. And so noticeable are conditions in the restaurant itself. Yutaka was always impeccably clean and inviting. But no more. Our most recent experience was disgusting. On a Saturday night, once the busiest night of the week at Yutaka, we found an empty restaurant, in need of great maintenance. Floors and countertops were noticeably dirty, there were broken chairs and a table piled near the front door, and light fixtures throughout were visibly off. It was sad and dismal. On the counter at the sushi bar where we sat with two friends there were dirty dishes were left stacked and appeared to have been there awhile. Staff just walked past them over and over again. The Hibachi tables were dark in the next room and one had dishes and other items piled on top. Once we could get her attention our young waitress was very aggressive as we read the menu, barking "order now" over and over, but ignoring our requests for information about menu items. Eventually we had to ask for a manager. Once we ordered sushi dishes and some other items from the kitchen we had to then go look for a server to order beverages. When our food finally arrived several items were wrong. The tempura dishes were cold and were not freshly prepared as they had always been in the past. The manager said it was ok to store tempura for use later. Disgusting. The rice in sushi rolls was literally hard and clearly old and my husband and his brother had to send back their order. On top of all of this they have raised the prices to extreme levels. In many cases prices have been doubled while the quality is gone. What a loss for our family and our community. This was the best restaurant in Somerville and certainly one of the best in the state. But not now. The conditions alone make us too concerned to eat there in the future. It's like a member of our family is gone. Just no longer an option for anyone looking for good food and atmosphere in a clean and inviting place.
