As of the 2010 United States Census, the borough's population was 26,342, reflecting an increase of 605 (+2.4%) from the 25,737 counted in the 2000 Census, which had in turn increased by 670 (+2.7%) from the 25,067 counted in the 1990 Census. A suburb of New York City, Paramus is located 15 to 20 miles (24 to 32 km) northwest of Midtown Manhattan and approximately 8 miles (13 km) west of Upper Manhattan. In 2013, it was named as a "New Jersey Healthy Town" under the state's Mayor's Wellness Campaign. The Wall Street Journal, has characterized Paramus as the Quintessential Suburb with small town charm.

This place opened in 1946 and outside of keeping it clean, I don't think anything has changed since 1946. The size, the taste, the stools, and the counters are appear to be vintage. If they are not, the restorer was talented.I also don't think pricing followed inflation because it is affordable! $10 get you 2 burgers, fries and cheese and drink.The people who work here are amazing. I have no idea how the grillmasterlady keeps track of who orders what but she does!A fun and inexpensive meal.

The habit burgers are very good as it the balsamic grilled chicken salad. I liked the ambiance of this place and the people are friendly. Prices are pretty reasonable and they have some good drinks as well.

For me Popeye's Chicken is all about the sweet heat sauce. I can dip pretty much anything into that and I am happy.Unfortunately, this Popeyes is a bit disorganized. The line was very long for a fast food restaurant, and there was definitely some confusion behind the counter. After about 10 minutes I asked about my order, and they admitted they forgot to submit it. They did give me extra food as a I'm sorry but still that is not a good thing in a fast food restaurant in which you need to turn around food quickly.On the plus side the chicken was awesome the biscuits were great and the sweet heat was just what I wanted.

We used to take home meals from this fast food sit-down restaurant with parking behind it on Rt. 17. But on the last couple of visits, the food seemed to be severely over salted. This is unfortunate, because up until now, we have always liked the roast chicken here. We will return only after they lay off the heavy quantities of salt, or produce salt-free dishes. I can add salt, but I can't remove it.
