I first ate at Bruni's in 1975 when it's original founders ran the place. I still remember the Italian couple speaking and possibly quarreling in their native language. The pizza was the best we had ever tasted and over the decades I have continued to stop in and get a pie. Tonight, into it's third owner I am relieved to taste tradition has not changed. We had a memorable pie. Thanks for the memories.
Best corn beef Reubens we've had in a long time. The sandwich was grilled, meat lean, sauerkraut and thousand islands dressing all nicely warmed. Service was excellent with a smile by the greeter, waitress and chef all rolled into a delightful package. Location is close to Batsto. Will definitely eat here again when we're in the area. Nice small town community feel.
The food is good, a bit pricey. The atmosphere is pretty rough, the lot out front looks like it hasn't had attention since it was built. Looks like a just a place for farmers to stop and fill up. It's too bad cause it would be a nice stop for people too and from Batsto only 5 mins down the road from them. Overall I would return but I wish they would clean the place up.
Have stopped there a few mornings for coffee and a bite to eat . You can get sandwichs , Bums , and hoagies , and other house whole goods.
