If you're looking for good Dominican home cooking this is definitely the place. The place is small but the service is amazing. You are welcomed and treated like you have arrived in someone's home. The menu has delicious mofongo. Don't leave without dessert and an espresso.

A group of us reserved a table for lunch to celebrate a co worker. While the restaurant was empty, service was very slow. Our waitress never took drink orders, and we had to get her attention to take our lunch orders. Even though we all opted for the lunch specials (sandwiches) it took almost an hour to get our food, and when it came to the table the food was cold. The food itself was not very appetizing, with little flavor and my sandwich lacked meat.
But, when it was open it was my favorite restaurant. Ciprianio was a fabulous cook. Great food, friendly service and Miriam, the owner's wife, would play music while you dined. Yeah, I really, really miss this place. I had to lie about the date visited, though.
