New restaurant, maybe March or April of 2011
I've been here several times - always great food and a nice atmopshere. It is right on the boardwalk, so it's very convenient and there's always a lively crowd. Some nights feature live music. Plus it is located underneath the Watermark night spot, overlooking the ocean, so it's convenient for after-dinner drinks to venture upstairs.

Ah....As soon as I walked through the door, I was met with the intoxicating aroma of blended spices from another world. Ada's is bright and comfortable. Service is excellent and so is the food. The menu offers Dominican and Ethiopian cuisine, all homemade by Ada. I ordered the chicken soup, which was so delicious. My friend ordered the Cuban sandwich and we both shared plantains topped with shrimp in a spiced red sauce. When finished, Ada came out to personally greet us. We look forward to eating at Ada's again! Ada's is a definite keeper! As a side note, I was impressed by the cleanliness of the restrooms. Spotless. We ordered iced tea with our meals. I believe you can BYOB.

It starts when you walk in the door: There is just a super fun vibe. Great setting. Tall ceilings, which adds to the noise, but hey, it's a party. Interesting drink choices, including specially-flavored margaritas and mojitos. Fortunately, the bar tender knows that when you want a drink, you'd like some alcohol in it! Lots of sipping tequilas and cervesas. We started with their housemade guacamole, which was great, accompanied by totopos, which are a nice change from tortilla chips. Speaking of tortilla soup, which was delicious. What's nice is that the menu is based on small plates, so you can have lots of different samples. My wife and I tried the cerdo (pork and pineapple) and found it a bit salty. I also had the tuna taco which was wonderful: Fresh and bright with a little crema on top. Our son, who is dairy allergic, had La Cerentia (shrimp with a mango, jicama slaw, a Vegetarian Taco, featuring nopales, and El Jefe (SPICY chorizo) Although we mentioned his dairy allergy, one of them had crema on top. When we pointed this out to them, they were very apologetic and fixed it pronto, Our server was warm and friendly. Definitely worth a visit.
