Like being in grandma's kitchen, you can watch these extraordinary little puffs of dough and stuffing prepared in front of you. The actual kitchen is right under your nose, which you can use to smell the incredible aromas of cheeses, cabbage, onions, potatoes, and sauerkraut....wonderful. But wait until you get them home, fry them up and taste. Probably as good as you can ever find. The menu, pricing, polite counter service and experience are all great.

This is not a large building yet has a feel of plenty of room with a full bar and tables for dining. The menu is decidedly Polish and included Zywiec, a wonderful Polish beer on tap. Magda, our waitress, right from the old country, recommended food and drink and was perfect in her descriptions of both. We each ordered a plate of pierogies that were perfectly prepared and very tasty. I don't get to NJ very often yet the next visit will include Amsterdam Alley.
