Things to do in Pine Brook
Visited this place the second time ( first time, they were closing so did not entertain us), even at this time, they were closing but agreed to take our order. We were in a rush so we ordered what they are famous for. Their specialty Korean drum stick and wings. They have enough option to choose combo between Drumsticks/Wings or Strip and that too in all sizes. So itâs for everyone. We took Combo (Small size- 6 wings + 3 Drum). It was enough for both of us so did not order anything else. We choose Spicy and soy garlic sauce. The spicy sauce is really spicy, so chose carefully. The soy garlic sauce was good. Chicken pieces were tender, very soft and juicy and crunchy. It was delicious. The ambiance was soothing and clean. You have to give order at the counter and server ll place your order on the table. ( I really donât like this system, either everything at counter or table).Prices wise, itâs really good. $12 for 9 pieces of chicken. Much cheaper than KFC or Popeyeâs chicken but more taste. I will come back to try their other dish for sure.

We have been going to Hwang Bu Ja Restaurant for years and it had never disappoint us. My husband and I enjoyed their BBQ Korean Ribs and the Beef and Seafood Tufo Casserole. At times, we'll also order the Seafood Scallion Pancake. Owners are hard working and attentive.By the way, the restaurant started out as Japanese / Korean but the Japanese part never took off.

We came here on the first night of the Olympics. The restaurant was almost completely full, with people waiting. Nice decor, was recently renovated. They bring our a lot of samplers, like 6 dishes, that are just for you to try. They are included in the meal, and let you try a few of the Korean foods without ordering them on the menu, like Kimchi, seaweed salad, etc. The appetizers were Great - Chicken Wing lollipops. They had a sweet and sour sauce on them that was excellent. The dumplings were fantastic also. The egg souffle was a disappointment, though. It was just a fluffy scrambled egg. The Bokkeumbap with chicken was also great. Definitely the best dinner of the night. The eel was good, but it was just eel and rice, nothing special. They were out of the cheesy corn. Must have been very popular. It was our first time trying Korean, so we didn't try the BBQ. Definitely next time., Everyone around us ordered the BBQ, and loved it (I checked). To my followers:Be adventurous. Everything is good.Make a reservation, just in case.Ask for a larger table, especially if you order the BBQ.It can be loud, just so you know ahead of time.We thank you for your detailed review as they really help not only other future guests but us as well. We are sorry about the egg souffle - it is true that it is a very simple recipe but amongst Korean people it is loved just like scrambled eggs here :-DWe look forward to serving you again and hopefully you can try some more of our wonderful dishes, especially the barbecue - it's our thing! ~Keo Ku Family~
