We've been making salads since before they were cool. We believe a salad is only as good as where it comes from. That's why we source the best growers for bigger taste. It's why we chop fresh all day, every day. From our kale to our carrots to our quinoa
I'm not fond of chain restaurants, but I found myself a couple of weeks ago going to a late lunch/ early dinner at Salad Works in Garwood anyway. After all ... you can't really mess up a salad too much, can you?Salad Works is a chain, and I guess they're all supposed to be about the same, but somehow this one just didn't seem as inviting as the Salad Works in my town. Maybe its because it wasn't as brightly lit. Maybe it just wasn't as busy. Maybe its because the people behind the counter just didn't seem as enthusiastic. I don't know.A salad is a salad. Ours were some of Salad Works' creative specials, but no better or worse than at another Salad Works or anywhere else. The menu says they have "bottled teas" and "bottled juices." My dining partner had a bottled tea, but it turns out that instead of bottled juices they only have fruit flavored teas. I had a fountain soda instead, and squeezed some fresh lemon into it.One more thing I must point out about this Salad Works location. Handicapped access is not very good. The handicapped parking spaces are all at the end of this strip of stores. My dining partner, who was walking with a walker, found it to be a long tedious walk to the Salad Works entrance.
At Jersey Mikeâs, we offer a sub above â one thatâs measured in more than inches or seconds âtil served. We carefully consider every aspect of what we do â every slice, every sandwich, every store â we provide our customers with sustenance and substance t
Recently I had the privilege of having a couple of subs dropped off to a colleague of mine and I as thanks from a customer. We both had cheesesteaks. Delicious! And this from a perosn who lived near Philly for 10 years. Fresh ingredients, tasty and big! Not the healthiest option in the world for obvious reasons but a good once-in-a-while treat for lunch!

This is a terrific place.! I don't know why the owners do not advertise that it is Afghani food.. it is listed nowhere, not on the sign outside, not on the menu. But the food is fabulous. The stuffed bread is to die for, called bolani I think. We had various appetizers.. the mantoo, and then the beef shishkebob .
