The seafood we use is the freshest and locally caught. We offer mako, swordfish, flounder and scallops when in season from our local fishermen. We use only jumbo lump crabmeat. Saturday night our prime rib is certified black angus. All soups are made from
Weâve been to Menz several times with family (not my choice!). I do not understand the fascination with this place. The food is overpriced and nothing special. The service was spotty at best-as if they did not have sufficient waitstaff. The portions are decent but for the price should be more. The decor is very eclectic...like someone took an antique store and blended it with your crazy uncleâs taxidermy collection (do you really want a deer or moose mounted on the wall, staring at you as you eat?). The gift/candy shop was nice-kids and adults will get a kick out of the âpenny candyâ. I get it that this establishment is a long time fixture in Cape May County (hence the multiple pictures of FDR). I guess everyone needs to go once for the experience. Do so, and then move on. And try not to be freaked out by the two-headed goat.

A perfect spot to enjoy a relaxing lunch or an exciting night out after a day taking in the Jersey Shore's sun and sights. From the moment you step inside our doors you will feel the vibe that is distinctly Fins.
Just stopped in for something light and wound up ordering and sharing two appetizers. The fried calamari was very good, as was the lobster Mac and cheese. Both portions were very generous but a little too salty. Service was good, and ambiance pleasant with several large, beautiful fish tanks. Convenient location on the Washington Mall.

Been coming here for nearly 20 summers, not always the best servers. Food never disappoints. This year our server was Heaven and she was awesome. Drinks came fast as did food. She was constantly checking back to make sure we wanted for nothing! She was fantastic!

Basically a shack squeezed in between a highway and a dock near a salt marsh. You eat on metal picnic tables. This is about as casual as a restaurant gets. We went twice and everything was excellent both times. The scallop special was outstanding on our first visit, as was the blackened swordfish special on our second visit. On our second visit we got a dozen crabs (for three people), which took a huge amount of work to eat (and lots of pounding with wooden mallets) but they were also very good. The corn on the cob was the best I've had in restaurant -- it's one dish that's almost always better at home, but Hooked Up's was great. Strong recommend.

Excellent appetizers with great atmosphere!~ Will be going back there again for dinner. Even on an early Monday afternoon it was filling up at 4:00 pm.

The Boathouse Restaurant is a casual restaurant that specializes in seafood and steaks, with amazing views of the inter-coastal waterways and spectacular sunsets. The deck is a more casual atmosphere with live music during the summer months, and great opt
Great food. I can vouch for the stuffed flounder. Iâve had stuffed flounder before but the crab stuffing was delicious, well seasoned and complemented the flounder, Busy place but for a Saturday night, on a holiday weekend, the wait was about 15 minutes. Service was prompt and our waitress Chrystal was attentive even though very busy, thereâs live entertainment also.

We went out looking for crabs and after reading the review had to try Crab and Seafood Shack. Everyone at the family run shack was friendly and welcoming. All of our food was delicious and prices were unbeatable. We could have tried everything on the menu. We will be back!
