Havebeen seeking a good place onthe north of LBI for take/out and this place is perfect! We do not eat fried foods and there were many great choices! Packed for dine-in and take-out, but ready fast and the food was nice and warm and perfectly broiled when we ate at home! Scallops (and a good amount!), freshly cooked corn, and wild rice! Perfect!

We wanted a white table cloth dinner and this place had very good reviews. Weâd made a reservation and upon our arrival we were promptly seated. Our server, Emily I believe, greeted us and took our orders. We didnât realize it was a BYO but we were able to purchase a bottle of local wine at the table. Just as she did with our water, she just plopped down the bottles and walked away. I cannot say Iâve ever experienced at a restaurant of this quality such peculiar service. She wasnât overwhelmed (the place wasnât full and she seemed very relaxed). Moreover, we had to repeatedly request certain things from her, and she wasnât attentive or particularly friendly. Now our meals were all very good. Our appetizers and entrees were all fresh, delicious, and served hot. The portions were also generous. My son ordered the chocolate lava cake for dessert and it was spectacular! If our service had been better, I would have gladly rated Stefanoâs âexcellent.â Unfortunately, the service wasnât commensurate with the quality of the food.

Known for its fried lobster which is wonderful. Lots of lobster pieces deep fried to perfection. Yummy. Nice dining room right on the water but no outside seating. Also, no reservations or amex. All their seafood is delicious. Nice portions. Good service. Very acceptable noise level. Lots of parking. BYOB.

There is just not enough of these places that do it well, this place does. Not a large joint, but a long bar and about 6-7 bar size tables. A very sleek atmosphere. Drinks and food served quickly and friendly. Not once did I need to ask for a refill. Nice selection of bar style fare with an emphasis on shelled seafood. Will put the Oyster House on my short list going forward. Nicely done.

Kubel's is a full-service restaurant with outdoor seating providing for spectacular views of Barnegat Bay and sunsets. Offering a variety of distinctive entrees such as their signature crab cakes, old fashioned crab pie, Barnegat Light scallops and sizzli
We have been to LBI for long weekends for four years now, but never ate here. Busy and popular, but the lack of restaurants in this part of LBI keeps a lot of places open. It was OK for dinner. Big menu with some specials. Wedge salad, veal parm, mussels very good, 3 got chowder and none liked it. Wings, SHRIMP & SCALLOP DEJONGHE OK. Service average.

Greeted warmly. Sat indoors-very cozy. Excellent service from our server Jen. Chowder was very tasty. Salad was good. Tuna dinner was full of gristle, and has been previously frozen. The Mahi sandwich was terrible. Fries were good. Take out Key Lime pie was half the size of what was served to another patron. For the price? not worth another look.

Went the other night for dinner and sat on the porch. Restaurant has a charming comfortable modern feel to it.Our waiter was Steven. He was wonderful: knew menu, efficient and funny! We ordered the sourdough bread that is served with unsalted butter and sea salt on side. Bread is excellent but they charge $5 for it!We shared a salad with beets and the grilled octopus. Both were good. (enough for 5 to share)Best entrees were special of day: grilled tuna and on menu the scallops. This place is very pricey but you are paying seasonal prices. However, Stevenâs Service was 100%: when we changed from Chardonnay to Pinot Giorgio, he gave us new glasses. He is an asset to this restaurant Also hostesses are friendly. They have a parking lot.If you read other reviews... they take credit cards nowPS forgot delicious lemon tart!

Have been wanting to try this place for a while now so we went on Memorial Day weekend. We were not disappointed in any way. Service was excellent and food was delicious. The night's halibut special was wonderful and my wife loved the burrata ravioli. Their lobster bisque is the best I have ever had! This is a byob but they do have some Working Dog wines available ( we love that winery so that was great). Although it is pricey, it's no more so than any other nice restaurant on the island. We will return.

Mid week in June and this place was mobbed. We opted for outdoor seating on the counters, which was a good choice. Service was fast. We enjoyed the tuna nachos and garlic clams.
