Lobster bisque was excellent actually had lobster in it. Is a little pricey but worth it. Service very good as well. Gets crowed on weekends early. Located right before Seaside Bridge. 5 star dining at 2 star pricing Great Seafood, Steaks, Chicken, and Italian Come see us Saturday and Sunday for our new Seafood Brunch Stop next door at Surf Liquors to add something to our fresh squeezed juices or virgin bloody mary
We were both in the mood for fish but after reading some reviews we both zeroed in on the lobster dishes. I had the stuffed lobster my boyfriend the paella. Neither dish disappointed, beautifully presented & very tasty. Although my boyfriend said the paella was nothing like heâd ever had before (weâve had in Spain as well as Newark Portuguese restaurants) he said it was delicious. The inside is not much to look at & the outside seating is very simple as well with picnic tables but the food is the real star here!
Good lobster rolls, but not cheap. But how could it be?Other Friday is ok, but sometimes greasy.Closed for winter, but I will definitely go back when reopens for summer.

Not what it used to be! Prices gone through the roof....especially the lobster nachos and the crab cakes....portions are smaller....awning needs to be down so sun isnât melting the ice! This was a GREAT venue for many years but isnât getting the management attention it formerly did.

A low key atmosphere and lovely water view added to our wonderful dining experience. Everyone in our party of 5 enjoyed their meals which included salmon, tuna, salads, calamari, lobster club sandwich and fish and chips. Jordan was an efficient and friendly server. We look forward to our next meal here.

Another season of solid Italian seafood favorites. Started out with hot antipasti featuring best calamari, decent shrimp and ok breaded clams. Wife and mom had the shrimp oreganata while I went with the flounder. The latter was superior but all tossed with a flavorful pasta peppered with garlic. Table service attentive and setting always attractive. Be sure to get there early to avoid lengthy wait as some patrons never seem to end their meal.

Enjoyed a fresh seafood meal at Runners with family. The whole Red Snapper--seasoned with fresh herbs and sided by asparagus and fingerlings--was a tasty mouth explosion! Emily's service was attentive and well-mannered. First server in a long time who responds to Thank You! with You're Welcome!--Instead of the ubiquitous and obnoxious No Problem! Help me with my endeavor to get us all back to You're Welcome! Start with the Scallops as an appetizer and enjoy the terrific photos of runners and marathoners gracing the walls!

New restaurant where Ava's by the bay was.
usually the food is great but on this night the entrees were uneatable. first my wife ordered general tsos chicken/shrimp with brocolli instead of peppers. i ordered general tsos shrimp/scallops. her meal comes out loaded with peppers and even had scallops in it which she doesnt eat. it was beyond spicy hot where you felt your lips were burning. couldnt eat it. mine had chicken it, the scallops were never coated and were the size of nickels when in the past i always got the big scallops. mine was also too spicy hot and uneatable. manager girl came over, first blaming waittress which it wasnt her fault, she didnt cook the stuff. then she tries telling me the scallops shrunk. sent it all back and left. made sure to tell manager on way out door our anniversary dinner was ruined

We were in Lavalette looking at rental properties and decided to stop at the Crabâs Claw for lunch. The waiter mentioned they had fresh-caught scrod, so we both ordered the beer battered scrod sandwich. It arrived hot and tasted delicious! It was accompanied by fries, also crisp, hot and delicious! There arenât a lot of shore restaurants open in Winter, but the Crabâs Claw does it right?

Overall the food is good. The servers are helpful and friendly. The hosts on the other hand...not pleasant. After they rudely greeted us and sat us down, they then turned away a group of 10 behind us because they were there 20 minutes early. We sat next to an empty table of 10 for 20 minutes. When they came back, she sat them at the table. I realize they do this to help the kitchen out, but they don't have to be so rude about it. The atmosphere is basic - an L shaped room inside with a large open window to the kitchen where you can watch the chefs, so the restaurant does get smokey. No views to the outside at all. Odd entry on the side of the building and the front outdoor eating area is in front of another business too so its a bit odd. BYOB. There is a liquor store across the street. Definitely make reservations or the hosts will make you feel terrible if you actually show up without one. And after you make a reservation, they call you multiple times before your reservation to make sure you know the policy that they will give your table away if you are over 15 minutes late. Really? You told me when I made the reservation. I don't need 2 additional calls to let me know.
