A Beach Haven favorite inspired by the best American Taverns and English pubs. Tuckers Tavern will satisfy your appetite for great food, friends and good times. Enjoy our gastro-pub menu, raw bar and local coastal favorites with an ever-changing selection
If the weather is good head to Buoy Bar (roof top deck) before dinner. The rooftop is great - usually a breeze and nice views! Dinner was good too. Only problem - expensive!

This is a great beach place to go at the end of a day at the beach. Very casual and seating is limited. Put your name on the board and wait to be called. New England clam chowder is wonderful as are the steamed clams with garlic. Nell who runs the place has her ways, just follow them and you will get a great meal.

There is just not enough of these places that do it well, this place does. Not a large joint, but a long bar and about 6-7 bar size tables. A very sleek atmosphere. Drinks and food served quickly and friendly. Not once did I need to ask for a refill. Nice selection of bar style fare with an emphasis on shelled seafood. Will put the Oyster House on my short list going forward. Nicely done.

Known for its fried lobster which is wonderful. Lots of lobster pieces deep fried to perfection. Yummy. Nice dining room right on the water but no outside seating. Also, no reservations or amex. All their seafood is delicious. Nice portions. Good service. Very acceptable noise level. Lots of parking. BYOB.

BEST fudge on the island! The people are super nice about giving samples of you donât know what flavor you want. My favorites are toll house and triple chocolate. I alone like salted caramel and chocolate peanut butter. But you canât go wrong with any flavor. The fudge is made fresh daily and you can definitely taste that.

Greeted warmly. Sat indoors-very cozy. Excellent service from our server Jen. Chowder was very tasty. Salad was good. Tuna dinner was full of gristle, and has been previously frozen. The Mahi sandwich was terrible. Fries were good. Take out Key Lime pie was half the size of what was served to another patron. For the price? not worth another look.

Opening for the season on April 13 Come join us
I feel like Carmen's is underrated. I've never had a bad meal here. The linguine and clam sauce is great and I usually ruin at least 1 shirt per year splattering a little oil on the front. Honestly, this is probably one of those little gems that is hiding right under your nose--they have actually been there awhile and they are consistently great.

This was our first visit this season and we've been going for over 30 years. I felt like I was eating at a diner. Gone are the white tablecloths in the bar area seating and the excellent wait staff. My husband had a special which was ok and I had broiled seafood which wasn't. Our waitress was confused about what came with what and was less than attentive. When she cleared the table she took the main plate only and left everything else, like mashed, coleslaw, empty cocktail glasses etc. We ate our dessert among the muck and in shifts. My cappuccino came after. If I had waited for it my husband would have been done his coffee and dessert. What's happened to the fabulous food and service that I remember? We usually go several times a season but now probably not. Very disappointing.

We wanted a white table cloth dinner and this place had very good reviews. Weâd made a reservation and upon our arrival we were promptly seated. Our server, Emily I believe, greeted us and took our orders. We didnât realize it was a BYO but we were able to purchase a bottle of local wine at the table. Just as she did with our water, she just plopped down the bottles and walked away. I cannot say Iâve ever experienced at a restaurant of this quality such peculiar service. She wasnât overwhelmed (the place wasnât full and she seemed very relaxed). Moreover, we had to repeatedly request certain things from her, and she wasnât attentive or particularly friendly. Now our meals were all very good. Our appetizers and entrees were all fresh, delicious, and served hot. The portions were also generous. My son ordered the chocolate lava cake for dessert and it was spectacular! If our service had been better, I would have gladly rated Stefanoâs âexcellent.â Unfortunately, the service wasnât commensurate with the quality of the food.

We did make reservations a few days in advance and were seated on time immediately in a great booth. Service was prompt and great recommendations. We had the fish special, oysters and a very nice moderate wine. Great place with wonderful fish and a true shore vibe.
