The Knife & Fork, which I last visited about 50 years ago, continues to have a wonderful ambience as well as remarkable longevity in a tough business. However, our meal was disappointing. It could have been excellent but missed the mark in important ways. The highlight was a wonderful lobster bisque with deep flavor and color and generous bits of lobster. Couldn't have been better. The low point was the generic supermarket quality bread. In between was our entrees. The lamb lollipop chops and halibut seemed to be of excellent quality and were very ample in their portions (indeed too ample for us). However, both were sadly overlooked to the degree that we ate relatively little of them. We did not want to send them back and have to wait for a second try, but I was surprised that our waiter carried away half full plates without asking whether something was wrong in a restaurant of this stature. Let this be a warning to emphasize how you want your food cooked.

Hubby and I were here to celebrate our October birthdays. The service (Thanks Mario!)was outstanding as well as the meal.We had reservations for 7:30PM on a Saturday night so when we arrived we were seated right away. For starters we shared the fried calamari. Prepared to perfection. For our main courses, hubby decided on the rib eye and I chose the 8 oz filet minon. With a side order of mashed potatoes and baby spinach we were ready to enjoy our feast of a meal. Both steaks also prepared to perfection.Unfortunately we did not have any coffee or dessert- we were way too full to eat another bite. All in all great meal and great service. Another Great Birthday celebration.

Family owned and operated for over 35 years. Serving only the freshest, cooked food, including fresh wild caught daily fish speicals, homemade sauces served over cooked to order pasta, most tender veal, chicken, steak and wood fired brick oven pizza.. Ful
Ordered from specials menu with a side of angel hair. Angel hair was small portion and I was charged $13.50. I felt this was overboard. I live in the area, but won't hurry back because though the quality was great, the pricing is out of line.

Dinner for 4 on a Tuesday night was great. We had a reservation for 7pm, arrived about 530p, figured we would have a drink at the bar for a while before sitting for dinner but the bar was jammed, no seats available so we went to front desk and they graciously arranged a beautiful water view table for us. When we said we weren't in a hurry and wanted to just enjoy our drinks for a while before ordering dinner, our server (Brianna) was very accommodating and made a great suggestion for ordering an appetizer platter which we could nibble while we sipped our drinks. We got a delightful, tasty bruschetta combo with numerous tidbits and quantity sufficient for the 4 of us, a real treat. Our dinners (3 steaks and a salmon) were great, quite pricey, but well prepared and very tasty. Terrific experience overall.Thank you so much for your golden review. We really appreciate your feedback and we hope to see you again soon. -GN

When you pull into the parking lot, a valet will take your vehicle and you can simply head for the door. On a weeknight off season (October) there was no line. We were seated immediately without having made reservations. I would not advise just dropping in during the summer, it'll be quite busy.Lovely rooms, table settings, and decor. Excellent wait staff and a menu mostly concentrated on seafood. We judge a restaurant by its calamari, and Dock's is excellent: lightly battered, tender, and served hot. The Maine clam chowder is creamy with mussels and clams served in the shell. The seafood risotto was a special and off-the-chart delicious. Most people were dressed in "nice casual" style.

This is a good restaurant, but it really doesn't stand out that much compared to other upper-end food from this kind of chain restaurant. We enjoyed fairly good service. The waitress was attentive and helped us with our choices. The potsticker appetizer was very good, but the salad and main courses (trout, steak, tacos) just didn't live up to the atmosphere OR my experience at other Bonefish Grills.

When we travel we alway's like to go where the locals go and after finding reviews for this place on Yelp I'm glad we did. Tucked off a side road in a Marina parking house you would normally drive right by. Looks like an old sea shanty. Inside is nothing fancy at all but after sampling one of the great breakfast dishes I'm glad we stopped in. The husband wife owners were very friendly, sat and talked with us, and we had a great breakfast, average price compared to other diners or breakfast holes. Mind you we only had breakfast but it was great and like they say eat where the locals eat.

While in AC for business, we were looking for something a little different and away from the casino traps. We jumped in the car and drove west on Rt 30. About 10 minutes out of town we saw this nice looking place and decided to give it a try. There were quite a few cars in the lot so we were surprised to see so few people in the restaurant. The dining room was beautifully decorated for the holidays... pretty wreaths on the walls and flowers on the tables, and just enough white lights to make it warm and inviting. As expected given the name, the menu features Italian specialties but not your standard spaghetti and meatballs. My husband selected Osso Bucco while I opted for a chef special Veal with artichoke, asparagus and cherry tomato in a sherry cream sauce. A bottle of Valpolicella was the perfect choice. Dinners were served with a choice of soup or salad and the warm crusty bread came with seasoned dipping oil. Dinners were delicious! Hubby raved about the fall-from-the-bone doneness of his pork and the rissotto that was served with it. My veal was also perfectly cooked and the asparagus was cooked through but still crisp. The sauce might have benefited from a little salt but that was easily corrected at the table. Our waiter Gabriel was attentive without hovering. We both decided to save room when we saw the dessert tray being presented to another table (when was the last time you saw a good dessert tray?). We tried to share the triple chocolate cake but it was so rich... and so yummy... that we would up taking it back to the hotel.Thank you!
