A favorite eatery and drinking spot for anyone who tries it once. Fish dishes freshly prepared and a wonderful choice of other dishes and appetizers as well. This is a unique place, almost too difficult to explain. The proof is in the experience. Daily specials in fish, oysters, etc., all of which are very fairly priced and tasty. I've been a sporadic patron for years, and the friendly waitstaff knows the regular clientele by name and remembers their preferences. This is an inviting, happy environment for a quick drink and appetizer at the bar or a leisurely dinner with family and friends.

Great place to go with friends and family where you can relax, enjoy and have some well made food. Everything is delicious, I think their pulled pork is the best. Would have been 5 stars if they had free refills for soda.Thank you for the great review!

The space and service was great. The food though was average... overall lacking in flavor. We were there as part of a large party and the space and service they gave us was very nice. Music was a little too loud but that might not have been in the restaurants control as there was a DJ.Hi There, Thank you for your review! This is a commercial bakery in an industrial building. Ugly. Old.They crank out Italian bread (all kinds) for restaurants and grocery stores. Open 24 hours.You want delicious fresh baked bread for about 1/2 price, this is your place. The ONLY place I buy from. Loaves, rolls, semolina, french, italian, you name it. Can't go wrong.

If you're looking for a fun place for cocktails and surprisingly, good food choices, stop by Blackjack Mulligans. During the week it is a bit quiet, but better for conversations. They have food and drink specials all week long. The weekends are typically spiced with a mixed crowd looking to have some fun while listening to sounds from the jukebox. The servers get challenged due to the crowd size, but do try hard. Get there early to grab a seat. I highly recommend the steaks, burgers and pizzas.The owners are great people and try very hard to accommodate everyone and usually, succeed. There's also, a back room that is good for private parties complete with a "wall-sized" TV. Go for the food and camaraderie. I highly recommend Blackjack Mulligan's Pub.

Love this place. A hole in the wall type of establishment but the food is really good and inexpensive. You wouldn't expect the seafood here to be inline with high end restaurants but it is (and some dishes even exceed the high end places). The menu has remained unchanged for years which provides consistency and the prices have changed only slightly over the years. Definitely worth checking out.

My husband wanted a steak dinner for our anniversary. He'd heard about Charlie Bloods-- it's been around a long time, but it's off the beaten path. We LIVED in Garfield, years ago, & never even heard about this place. It's a local bar with a restaurant in the back. Decor is like a theme restaurant (think TGI Fridays) only the REAL DEAL -- real saddles, cowboy boots, taxidermy done well (deer, goose, buffalo head, bear skin), pictures of John Wayne, classic 50's music, a wood-burning stove, dim lights (electric lanterns hanging off a wagon wheel)....eclectic. The food is Italian and American -- with specials in the $10 range. My husband had "The Duke" --a 24 oz ribeye. I had Eggplant Rollatine. My husband was happy, and I was so pleased with the Eggplant Rollatinen that it has become my new standard for all others to measure by -- crisply fried eggplant stuffed with plenty of ricotta, and a sweet, never acidic sauce (I've been back --it's always perfect!). The pizza served to another table looked great, and the calamari was good too. Try it and you'll want to come back, too. I can't wait to take my daughter, bring friends...we'll be back!

Good solid Italian food. Been going there for years. One of my favorites is sausage and pepper over ziti. Very family friendly and experienced and pleasant wait staff. Parking in front or across the street, but when it gets busy you may have to hunt for a parking spot. Highly recommended.Thank you for the great review! We are still a family run business for over 80 years!
