A great place to have a cocktail & listen to some live music, ocean side. Drinks are compatibly priced to other beach bars. Bartender was very pleasant but, he was trying to take care of everyone SOLO & service was slow through no fault of his own. There were 2 or 3 registers on the back bar but, only one bar tender at 4pm on a Saturday. Not really anywhere to sit or even set your drink down. The Anchor Bar on the other side of the Hall has seating on the beach. Appears that the Beach Bar could do the same. All in all...can't beat the view & a nice place to stop when you reach the end of the Boardwalk.

Visited with friends while spending time in Ocean Grove. The appeal of Clancy's is that it is open late, and sells alcohol both as a bar and store. We had dinner there, the waitstaff was great. The food mostly mediocre sports bar food, nothing special, but does the trick for people with belly's full of booze.

Not just in Asbury but probably the world. Maybe it's because I've been coming here as long as I could legally be let in but I just associate Bond St. with home. It's almost always where I start and somehow end my nights when I go to Asbury. The drinks aren't anything special and neither is the food really. It's just a truly genuine Jersey Shore experience and now that they have the giant basement annex with ping pong, etc. it's truly become the spot to be at. Another cool part about Bond St. is the difference in age among the patrons. A lot of college aged people but also plenty of middle aged folks as well which is at least to me pretty cool. Sex Bingo is cool too.

Tried this local restaurant for lunch. The bar and dining areas were evenly divided allowing for privacy and quiet. Our party of seven was seated quickly and approached by our waitress. Nice lunch menu providing options from small plates, sandwiches, pasta and seafood. Our choices were served together and as ordered. Nice selection of beers on tap.

Free pizza every day!
Tried to go to Johnny Mac's with my 23 yr old son with autism and they refused service. I asked if they actually refused service to people with disabilities and they said "sorry it is the rule." Amazing that an establishment in this day and age would refuse service ( and my son was not drinking), based on a disability. So sad... avoid this dump at all costs.

The Iron Whale, located on the Boardwalk in Asbury Park, features a rustic, yet contemporary design in the spirit of seafarers, with prominent reclaimed wood, ropes, and gas lanterns. The menu features inventive takes on seafood and it also includes a wid
Cheerful greeting and prompt seating with boardwalk/ocean views from most tables (outdoor boardwalk option in season). Good bar. We shared a good New England chowder and ordered lunch from a tight menu with something for most tastes, from a frittata to burgers and salads. Enjoyable setting, food and service. Only few hundred feet south of the Asbury Convention Hall makes it a pick before or after events.

I visited on a hot Thursday afternoon. It was not busy. I enjoyed the quiet ambience. I imagine at prime time the place is lively. I saw dogs enjoying a meal on the outdoor patio with their people -- and I applaud dog-friendly restaurants. That made points with me even though I had no dog with me.There was one woman serving as hostess and server. She was very pleasant and welcoming. I had an order of deviled eggs and a plate of buffalo wings. The eggs were OK. The order of wings is large -- plenty for a meal. I also had a glass of red Sangria -- it was the best part of the meal. Laurel and Hardy movies were looped on the television. I would like to return here to try their entrees. But, for pub grub like I had I rate it pretty good.

The pork roll, egg & cheddar sandwich served on a Hawaiian bun was delicious! As were the fries. Our server, Rachel, was terrific. Thanks!

Tried this place for the first time on our way home from a trip. We pretty much had the restaurant to ourselves so how could the service be bad right? We ordered an appetizer to split the I got the salmon Mac n cheese and broccoli. My husband got a sliced filet mignon sandwich with Mac n cheese. The appetizer never came. Our dinners came out. My husbands meet was rare he had asked for it medium. The broccoli was pretty much raw. The drink I asked for was not very good. Def did not taste like top shelf vodka. I was disappointed

Asbury Festhalle & Biergarten brings an authentic biergarten experience to Asbury Park, a tradition that Europeans have enjoyed for centuries - communal tables where friends and strangers mingle in a lively, friendly atmosphere, energized by a regular sch
I struggle with the rating as the food was really great. As a German I can say that it was very authentic. The Wiener Schnitzel was tender with a crispy breading. Potato salad and cucumber salad with mustard dressing tasted like home. The WeiÃwurst was like in Bavaria. Now here is what it spoiled it. The service was one of the worst I ever had. Nobody seated us as we entered. It took an eternity before we were asked for our order. They brought the wrong beer and instead of simply apologizing tried to defend themselves. After we got our food we never ever had the chance to oder another drink or were not offered any dessert. I hate eating on such a hostile atmosphere!
