A good restaurant with nice and cozy atmosphere.Excellent pasta and a good wine list. The service is good, but it needs improvements. I recommend it.

Great meal with those garlic knots. Large skinny pizza and then Homemade gnocchi covered in cheese. Pasta with bolognese sauce and lobster ravioli. Finished with famous signature coconut cream pit and cappuccino. Crowded as usual. Service was a tad off but still a wonderful evening over the raucous loud crowd.

I was able to walk here from my nearby hotel. It is a small place with just a few tables - not the best dining ambience, but I'm guessing most of their business is take out or delivery. The pizza looked great, but there is also an extensive menu of pasta, chicken, veal, seafood dishes etc. I ordered chicken picatta for take out. It was made quickly, reasonably priced and very good!

Though Ah Pizz is primarily known for its top notch pizzas, we happen to love their many salad choices and entrees as well. The pizza dough and varied standard and unusual topping options are great. We shared a pesto with crumbled sausage, a classic margarita pie and a special with puréed butternut squash. I love the eggplant Parmesan. The portion is large and super fresh. Pastas are also very good. Every month thereâs a large list of specials by category and in fact a salad with watermelon and feta cheese is one of my summer favorites. Itâs also byob which is terrific.

We met up with friends here for a nice meal out. After our waitress had the wine opened we agreed on 6 items off the hot/cold antipast menu. A mix of cured meats, cheeses and peppers. I enjoyed all of them. Dinner was a veal dish with risotto. It was ok. I was hungry and did not mind it, but from a flavor profile view, it was a bit bland. Risotto is tough because the longer it sits, it becomes more glutenous and when not prepared to order its going seize up a bit. Dessert, on a whim, I orderd the tri-color Italian cake and it was outstanding. Picture included.

Really tasty wood fired pizzas made from quality ingredients. Friedly and helpful staff. Unfortunately will not be back as we are visiting from the UK. Mores the pity, as I could easily have become a regular here.

Went with friends for dinner. Located behind staples in the shopping plaza. Friends had the salad pizza which they loved. We ordered a baked ziti pizza which was also very good. We also ordered a half meatball, half broccoli pizza. Meatballs were just okay. Not as good as the broccoli side. 3 pies including tax and tip was $62. Definitely worth giving a try.

My husband, daughter and I have birthdays all within 3 weeks. We took our immediate family here for dinner Saturday. They were very accommodating. We split 2 ginger calamari and one regular marinara. We had 1 Chicken Margherita, 3 Chicken Giambotta, 2 Chicken Francese,1 Chicken Piccata, 1 Calzone and a hot dog. Everything was delicious and the waitress Dora, was very helpful. The portions were generous and the prices were reasonable. We will make this our regular Italian Restaurant.

We celebrated my sisters getting her masters in nursing and had dinner here for about 12 people. Besides the challenges of finding parking, itâs very accessible. The server was very sweet and attentive and the overall atmosphere is casual and comfortable. We had our 4 year old and it was way past her bedtime, so we quickly ordered a margarita pizza. It was perfect for her and for us. We also shared the aracini. The pasta fishers were very generous in size and flavorful. Itâs BYOB which makes it more economical for large parties. Overall good good and great service for a crowd.

Give me a relaxed welcoming environment serving great food over a uptight fancy pants restaurant serving overpriced food every time. Star Pizzeria did not disappoint. Here I will say that it's everything that makes it great. The chill bar with lots of tables, tv's, locals, cheap beer, and good food. We ordered a plain and pepporni pizza. The pizza was crispy, cheesy, and tasty. It was good in a thin crust bar style pizza is good. Would I go back just for the pizza? Probably not but if someone wants good food, cheap drinks, and a casual atmosphere. Star Tavern is a great spot.
