I was famished, on my way to Passaic and saw this place, driving by. It was packed, so I figured the locals liked it. Stopped in and got myself a slice of the vegetarian. The crust was crunchy and good, was topped with plenty of good stuff: eggplant, broccoli, garlic...and wasn't too heavy on the sauce or cheese. Really hit the spot. I saw a little sandwich on the menu, knowing I'd need something later, so I ordered the Grilled Chicken Avocado sandwich. It was the same basic price as the slice and boy was it good! The only thing I didn't like about it was that the bread was toasted - I'd rather be told that on the menu, as I would have requested it not be...but it was drippy, yummy and just the right amount - not some crazy, oversized gluttonous hoagie. This was my second trip to Lodi pizza and I was not as impressed with the food as I was the last time. The pizza looked it had been sitting for awhile and did not have the fresh look as when a fresh pie comes out. It looked dried out. I had a Sicilian slice that was good and looked the freshest pizza there but the slice was so small as the guy did not cut the pieces in the pie evenly. The place could also use a good cleaning. It's worth another visit though as the first time was good.

I have been going to the Firehouse Restaurant for years, but we hadn't been there in a few years. It has gone through a few owners and a fire but it still survives. Last Friday we went for pizza for old time sake. What a nice surprise. The pizza was old school thin crust Jersey pizza with lots of cheese. The mussels were so good we ordered another portion. The wait staff are all locals and the whole place makes you feel like you are from the neighborhood. TV screens and fire house memorabilia fill the walls. The food is very good and the atmosphere is great. We will be back soon.

Good solid Italian food. Been going there for years. One of my favorites is sausage and pepper over ziti. Very family friendly and experienced and pleasant wait staff. Parking in front or across the street, but when it gets busy you may have to hunt for a parking spot. Highly recommended.Thank you for the great review! We are still a family run business for over 80 years!

Do a lot of take out pizza from Donnagio's and have never been disappointed! We drive from several towns over for their pizzas.I am very fond of the Sicilian style pizza. The crust is thick, but not obnoxiously thick. I believe they make the Sicilian to order so it is always fresh, not like some places who make the thick crust ahead of time and just warm it up with the sauce and cheese.The Pizza Margurita is great too.They have a nice, clean eat in restaurant. I have never eaten there, but it is quite busy on weekends

Friends told us about this place but never tried before,now i see the reviews are the same as we feel.Ordered a couple of nights ago very pleasant girl on the phone,helpful and not rushes as some places are.Our delivery cane within the promised 20 minutes,the delivery man was the nicest I have ever encountered,I plan to stop by their place within the next week just to give him a larger tip.Oh the pizza was perfect ,not greasy and still warm.This will now be our go to place!

This restaurant was recommended by a local resident. When I entered the restaurant the owner of the restaurant was taking orders. He was so friendly and engaged in great conversation. He offered my daughter a free fountain drink. The pizza was so good we returned the next day again.

I was traveling through Bergen County and found this place in Saddle Brook.What a great place. If you like different beers this place is for you great nosh, great beer, wonderful service. Our server Matthew was extremely knowledgeable in suggesting which beer we might like to drink. I had a salad, my husband had a flatbread pizza. It was just delicious. If you're in the area, it's definitely a place to check out.

I was born and lived in Jersey most of my life. always looking for good pizza outside of NYC. This place makes nice thin crust pizza that will satisfy you. Rest of the stuff is ok. I continue to get pizza from here.

Mario's is an ole school Italian restaurant with authentic food. Everything in this establishment is home made and very tasty. The pizzas are great as are their soups, pasta dishes and desserts. The establishment is small with some indoor and outdoor seating. The owners seem to have a regular clientele and are quite personable. It's ole school all the way, with ole customer service, with ole school class, with ole school warmth and ole school prices. I really like this place and highly recommend it.
