I decided to order Papa John's pizza for home delivery. They were advertising for 2 large pies with 2 toppings each for $7.77 per pie. I ordered via the Papa John's APP and finished the order approximately 12:40pm. I received my email confirmation and was to expect delivery in 30-40 minutes. The estimate was on target. I hoped that Papa John's pizza would be tasty and have a temperature upon delivery that was to my satisfaction. Yes on all fronts! The icing on the cake was the pleasant phone call from the Driver who delivered my order. I had requested to get a phone call when the Driver arrived to my address in the 'special instructions' comment box in the APP. I wanted to be able to meet the Driver on my porch as not to delay the delivery. My street is a one way street and parking gets scarce on the weekends. Bessimah (unsure if I spelled her name correctly) was the Driver and definitely a pleasure to interact. Thank you Papa John's!

After reviewing available delivery-menus at the Hampton Inn, we chose Adam's Pizza, and we were not disappointed. From their broad menu, we chose the Supreme Pizza. The medium pizza was loaded with delicious ingredients. The delivery was timely and free (for orders over $12), and the pizza was still warm. Hard not to like the service and product. We would order from Adam's again if we were staying in the area.

Pros: It is nearby irvington, downtown hillside, and elizabeth. The service is prompt and friendly. The pizza is freshly made, and each slice is very large at a decent price.Cons: Other than the pizza I wouldn't order anything else there. There calzone is made with cottage cheese and Tomato sauce. It is made with a lot of bread..I MEAN a LOT. I couldn't actually finish it I wound up throwing it away as it was making me gag. And it have no taste. The pizza they serve is decent and the location is not so convenient because there isn't a lot of parking there.Bottom line: If you're looking for an authentic new york style pizza in the new jersey area between Hillside and Elizabeth there are better places than this. If you just want a quick bite to eat I don't feel like driving very far you can get a slice here.

I normally wouldn't right a review for a Domino's because you'd think this pizza chain would be fairly standard across the country. However, I had a reality check when I ordered from a Domino's in VA. This location definitely knows how to do Pizza, breadsticks and wings right. The service is pretty standard but the food is pretty great when compared to similar pizzerias (ie Pizza Hut, Chuck 'E' Cheese, other Domino's locations).

If you want really good pizza and Italian food, this is you place. Vito, the owner, is a great guy who always accommodates his customers. We have used M & M's to cater some parties, and the food is always delicious and plentiful.

My kids beg for their pizza all the time. So it's definitely popular wirh kids. I think it's good, though I have one or two other favorites that I enjoy if I am not letting thr kids pick. The staff is super friendly on the phone and when you walk in. My son loves ro stop in for a slice on his way home. The feel is more old school than modern. We order and take out from Comet once or twice a month. I just wish they had better parking.

You can order the tasty traditional Italian entrees such as Marsala, Parm and standard pastas but they have an extended menu where there are many entrees not normally seen locally. Shrimp with Broccoli Rabe, Seafood Canollini, Short Ribs with Risotto, Italian Stuffed Sole. To be honest we have never had the pizza, we are spoiled by another local institution. Everything here is so fresh and tasty - never disappoints! Only complaint is I wish the place took reservations or expanded. Many times we want to go but don't because we just don't have the time or patience to wait (and wait, and wait.....)
