The food was just amazing. Four of us had four different entrees. The salad came with the entrée was fresh. The sauces on all the pasta were different and extremely delicious. The vegetables were crisp and the pasta cooked well. Most Italian restaurants are so predictable - such a wonderful surprise this restaurant was.

Truly incredible selection of pizza, sandwiches on pizza bread, spinach/sausage/pepperoni/cheese rolls & sauce, calamari salad, and dinner entrees. BYOB eat in, or take out.
This place is slick with fast service if you want quick pizza by the slice. The service is super friendly with a fantastic pizza selection. Great range of pizza topping choices and I particularly love the grilled calamari salad. Great atmosphere in a casual set up and this place is usually packed. Very reasonable prices considering the food is so good. Highly recommend this restaurant.

We ordered from Joeâs and I must add everything was really really delicious! When they first opened under new management they were horrible. Iâm not sure if they brought a new chef but everything we have ordered has been a hit! Their bruschetta is the best my office has ever had! Their pizza gets delivered hot! Thank you and keep up the work!Blanca- We are soo happy you came back around after the ownership change and that you were satisfied with your experience. Nestled in Historic Summit NJ, Piattino is serving up great Italian Fare with a modern twist, sourcing artisan ingredients from across the world and our own back yard. Our chef has crafted a menu full of new takes on classic entrees and pastas. And, our s
Three women lunched here on a weekday. Encouraged by the next table we order the whipped cheese and thick bread on a board. Forget it. The cheese, drizzled with olive oil and sprinkled with a few herbs was very bland. The bread, toasted in big chunks, was also tasteless. A very caloric dish. The salads were good and they will split them in the kitchen. The service was prompt and helpful. The setting is pleasant. Nice place just choose wisely.Thank you for taking the time to review Piattino in Summit. We're sorry to hear about your appetizer experience, and we will pass this information along to the chef. Another appetizer to try, is one of our guest's favorites, the Crispy Carrot Risotto Balls! We'll see you soon!

While they don't take reservations you rarely need to wait for a table. Outside dining is available. Good southern Italian food. Help is accommodating. Atmosphere is pleasant. Rest rooms are clean. BYO. Both the veal parm platter and veal milanese were very good @ $24.95 each. Parking available behind the restaurant. It's in downtown Summit. Nice place to walk around after dinner.

Weâve been to La Focaccia several times, and weâll go back, but not too soon. Parking is on the street, and unless youâre lucky, thereâs a long walk. Our reservation was honored, but even though we were there on time, we still had to wait more than 30 minutes to be seated. The tables are small and close together, and the noise was excessive. The service was slow. The food was terrific and thatâs why weâll go back.... but not too soon.

Today my wife and I had a Margherita lunch, not the drink, but a pizza. We decided to check out the Pizza Vita restaurant while in town and enjoyed our pizza lunch.

What a delightful evening. We went here, my brother's favorite restaurant. And it's clear why. Located in a "house" of historic record, it opens into a lovely interior, outstanding service, and absolutely delicious food. Truly a special evening. Thank you all.
