I have enjoyed Philadelphias La Violla for many decades. When I visited Collingswood's Il Fiore and it had the same menu and much of the same staff I understood. It is great, reasonable and the waiters have great accents. I like the grilled calamari w a great vinegarette and the Salmon. It is a reliable choice with friends, family to dine or to celebrate a special occasion - like Thursday.

We took my sister out for her birthday and I had heard that Il Villaggio was a really good restaurant. The restaurant exceeded all of our expectations! The ambiance was so nice, elegant but comfy. All of the wait staff were so friendly and helpful. The food was phenomenal. There wasn't one thing that was 'iffy' or bad. I highly suggest going there for a meal or you can even have events there, like weddings or showers. Do yourself a favor and get there as soon as you can! You won't regret it!

One visit to Anthony's creative Italian cuisine & you will be hooked. As you walk into one of three beautifully redesigned dinning rooms, in a building that dates back to the 1930's, you will smell the aromas of the freshest ingredients and spices, which
Start to finish, a gem. Doesn't look like much from the outside because it is a small storefront but it is well worth coming inside. The three course menu is almost too much. Tuna with wasabi to start, caprese salad, and the sausage with gnocchi was enough to feed 2.Others had the crab and pasta which had thumb size pieces of jumbo lump. The venal chip was ate least double cut and the sausage appetizer was enough for a meal.Delicious.

This is the 3rd restaurant we have been to in this location. We've enjoyed them all, but really enjoy the food here. Our first trip the owner stopped by our table and offered us a sample of tomato pie/bread that was excellent. We've had a nice assortment of entrees, sandwiches, pizza and salads. We love tomato pie and even better you can get it here as Sicilian (square) or Neopolitan (round & varied sizes) plus a wheat dough option if you like. Most tomato pies are very "paste" like, this is made with chucks of tomato, sauce, garlic, cheese and basil and we love it more than the traditional. There is a large menu with lots of options and so far we've liked it all. The "downside" is the inconsistent service...with delivery our time has varied from 30 - 60 minutes (same pizza order). When placing pick-up, we've waited as requested only to arrive and find our meal not started yet.Tableside service has been more consistent.

If you are looking for a great pizza or cheesesteak......Marino's is your place! This family owned pizza joint is everything you ever want!If you like white pizza you must try the Ricotta white. If youre into cheesesteaks, you must try the cheesesteak stromboli, it comes with onions and mushrooms. You wont be able to order from another pizza place again!!!

I have eaten in and ordered out. They just go out of their way to be friendly and the food is great too. The portions are large. I love the pizza. I have had both Sicilian and regular pizza. I also love the veggie panini. I just know I would probably love a lot more. Look forward to going back.

Informal BYOB Italian eatery where the emphasis is on the traditional homestyle Italian cooking. Managed by Angelo Lutz, Philly's original Kitchen Consigliere, and located in Collingswood, NJ
My wife and I were here on a Friday night and had a very good dinner.Included salad was good and my veal parmigiana with pasta/garlic oil was excellent. My wife's veal Marsala would have also been excellent if it wasn't swimming in sauce.swimming in sauce. The veal in both dishes was very good--pounded thin and it was quite tender--a big plus. The bread was quite ordinary despite the excellent olive oil so that was a disappointment. Good bread is the sign of a very good restaurant so help needed there. Service was very good throughout the meal. Very nice to have a choice of different pastas and sauces with the entree. Prices were reasonable.

Yearly event to celebrate my husband's birthday. They put delicious bread and a plate of rustic peppers on the table to start. Full bar. My white wine was the just the right temperate. Other places serve it too warm. Started with an octopus appetizer which was very good and tender. The ceasar salads were good. Entrees were delicious. My triple chocolate mouse dessert was light and delicious. I have never had a bad meal at Filomena's.
