Two couples for restaurant week. Think they'd put their best foot forward. Here on Thursday night. We all took the three course menu. Best appy - not available tonight. Got Caesar salad - romaine with nothing special dressing. Main course - same response -best dish not available. I had Amatriciana with Sausage. sauce was ok but pasta was reheated, had the texture of kraft mac and cheese. None of us were impressed with the food. Only 7 tables occupied and it was still a bit loud. Can't imagine what a full house would be like. Other reviews rave about the food but what we all had was nothing special at all. Plenty of Italian choices in town. Probably won't be back.

We went to San Remo on New Year’s Eve with a party of eight. We had a reservation and they were ready for us. The food was very good and service nice. However, our appetizers took 45 minutes to appear and our main courses over two hours. At that, one of them was wrong and she had to wait another 15 minutes for her dish, which was undercooked. I do not know if they were down a line chef or two, or what the issue was, but they need to work on expediting the meals.Dear John, I'm glad you enjoyed the food and service! I apologize for the wait time, we had a large influx of guests at the time you were seated - this may have been the reason for your wait situation as for this I apologize. I hope that this does not deter you from coming back, and perhaps trying something new on our menu. Thank you for your review and we hope to see you back again soon!

Brothers has been recently remodeled. It has been my "go to" place for pizza since I started working in Holmdel 53 years ago! Unfortunately, the new layout is quite loud, especially during the busy hours. For instance, using Soundprint, a sound meter for restaurants, the decibel level at dinner was 83 mostly due to large family gatherings with small, yelling children! Other than that, it's great!

Red Banks Family Style Italian Restaurant

For a family style place I will give this a four but it’s probably closer to a three and a half. I have been to the one in Brooklyn twice and that was five stars both times. I thought the food hereWas good but not nearly at the same level as the spot in Brooklyn. Eggplant parmigiana was good but a little cold, calamari very good, lobster ok but well below Brooklyn’s, pasta good but not great, desert average and skirt steak was very average. Chicken was awesome and tender. Baked clams very good. Will probably opt for Brooklyn if I have a choice. Servers were very good and attentive. Great if your having a small gathering or party

I would have given this restaurant 3.5 stars if I could. First visit was fine: good pizza, attentive service, right across the street from theater. Noise level was fine when I was there, but I'm sure it's very loud when the place is full. It's really a sports bar kind of restaurant, with a zillion TV sets in all directions, which is distracting.

This is THE best italian deli in the area. The sandwiches are enormous. The bread is fresh. Most of their business is catering for events. We order here all the time for small gatherings when we need food. Everything they make is outstanding. Its a no brainer. If you live in the area and have not tried this place, do yourself a favor and stop in.

Decent service, food and setting. I like when tables are far enough apart that you can’t be overheard but can still what others are eating. Wife had the chicken cacciatore that was very favorable and a healthy sized portion. Mom had the 12 oz sirloin which provided more than enough for our dogs the next day. And I had the branzino fish grilled in oil that was superb and most importantly did not not kill me with all the sharps little bones which were expertly removed.

This was a special occasion, my wife's 61 st birthday. We could only make reservations for 5:30 pm on a Saturday. This was okay with us so we took it.This is a farm to table restaurant so the menu is somewhat limited, but again that was fine with us.Our table was a long table with the three of us at one end another couple at the other end, which felt a little awkward, the chairs were irregular. The bread served was absolutely delicious and our appetizers were excellent. These were ready on a timely basis. However, we waited approximately 30 minutes for our entree. The excuse was that the chicken I ordered took long to make. Why did they wait until after I ordered to tell us that? Our server was okay, but never brought over a bucket or holder to keep our wine chilled after she said she would. When my entree arrived, it was so hot my mouth was burned on the inside. Had to wait longer for it to cool to a warm but not burning temperature. Once it cooled somewhat it was very good. The matre de was very standoffish and not really a welcoming individual.Overall, food was very good, communication and attention to details of the over all experience were not good and for the cost of the meal and reputation they have this should have been better.I would not recommend this place even though the food is good, they need to be more considerate of their customers and solicitous. Much more hospitable places available in Red Bank.

First time visiting Pazzo MMX on Front Street in Red Bank with my Jersey Family. We parked in the adjacent pay parking lot. Started with Margherita Pizzas for appetizer, small but Good. Had the Veal Parmigiana with Ziti as the main course-Good. Sauce was a bit bland, and the Veal was relatively thick sliced. It was a large portion that I shared with others. My wife had the Shrimp which she found to be Very Good. Dessert was Cheesecake and Espresso. Cheesecake was Good/Very Good. The Espresso was Fair. Service was Very Good. Setting was very noisy when full.

Our group of 5 went for a post-graduation dinner and all appeared to be happy with our choices. The service and menu were excellent. Killed to have one of their craft beers which I enjoyed. They served a selection of assorted breads with our drinks. We ordered a house salad which was large enough for 3 of us to share. The menu was extensive and everyone had different selections which we all enjoyed. The wait staff here very attentive. Overall excellent experience
