The place for Italian tapas small plates, hand tossed pizza and world class wines.
First time. We walk in the bar side and was very impressed. Nice atmosphere. The bar was full so we were going to wait until someone left. A really nice girl server named Rebecca served us the bottle of wine while we waited. We paid the tab. We got seats at the bar. We were told it was tapas. So we ordered truffle ravioli- tuna bruschetta-crispy octopus. Attach is a picture. Tapas I understand is small but couldnât you give two pieces of bruschetta not one? 3 raviolis but for $14.50? The taste and presentation was delicious. We ran out of time so instead of ordering more we got our tab. The tab was $52.78!! Realized they added 2 drinks onto the tab that we didnât drink. We called the girl bartender over and said it wasnât our tab and she started to argue with us! Told us that the other bartender said it was ours. Didnât appreciate the attitude from the start making us have to prove it the mistake. The guy bartender wouldnât come over to confront. It took time for the girl bartender finally to come back. Instead of voiding or taking the drinks off they deducted the drinks separately. Now we have to watch our charge card to make sure the deduction takes place! Needless to say, if thatâs how a restaurant does business, we will NOT be back. Donât need bartenders argue about drinks that wasnât ours making a perfectly beginning of the evening turn negative. Too many other restaurants that appreciate customers.Hi Debbie, we're very sorry to hear about your experience and would like to sincerely apologize for the confusion with the check as that is certainly not how we do business. If you wouldn't mind privately sending us your phone number, our general manager would love to reach out to you personally. We hope to have the opportunity to serve you again and make it up to you.

WATCH YOUR BILL AT THIS PLACE! Very VERY sneaky...Please do not just hand them your card and assume all is correct. Even if you ask them to correct an error do not assume its corrected, double and even triple check...these people have nerve! It was our first time eating here; there were four of us and we came here for the special, we heard good things from friends. The special includes apps, entree and dessert for $20 a person. Cappuccino and espresso is discounted to around $1 - $1.25.We ordered off the special menu, ate...food was decent. The waitress came for dessert options and rattled off about 15 items. I asked her specifically if there was a dessert menu and that sounded like a lot of dessert to be included in the special. She says nothing! Just smiles. We didn't even want dessert but since it was included we ordered four desserts and espresso/Cappuccino. The bill comes and the total is $137.00! I see that we were charged for all four desserts and about $7 per coffee! The menu clearly states the espresso/Cappuccino's are $1 -$1.25 each. So I call over the waitress and ask her why it's so much...do the math 4 x 20 plus tax and few extra dollars for the coffee, I was expecting around $100 the most. She explains that the desserts we ordered weren't included in the special! I said "I asked you and you didn't say anything..you knew we were ordering off the special menu, you never told us our choices!" So she said she would take care of it. A few minutes later some Mexican guy, I assume he was the manager, comes back with the "corrected" bill and (get this) there is only a $2.00 adjustment! So $137.00 was adjusted to $135.00So I said to him, "You only took $2.00 off" So he tells me the bill was originally $165.00 and he did adjust it!" So now I am mad and say to him..."do the math, how could it ever have been $165.00 there is only four of us getting the $20 special! And look at the bill, the desserts and coffee are still on there!"So he takes the bill back and changes it again....we get it and see its $105.00 now...so we just pay it and leave..but guess what!? We get home and look at it again HE STILL CHARGED US FOR 2 OF THE DESSERTS!! The unmitigated nerve of these people!!! I will never and mean NEVER go back there again! I truly believe this is an ongoing scheme and they probably make $100's of extra dollars a week doctoring customer's bills. People who are a little drunk and just hand their credit cards over. PLEASE CHECK YOUR BILL AT THIS PLACE, double and triple check... and DO NOT take for granted that once they "correct it" that it is in fact correct.

The food is amazing. Anything Italian and it is delicious. We just attended another family event where the dinner salads were great and the choices of entrees were delicious. I have never had a bad meal at Roma. Just great.

Enjoyed an evening out with a large group of friends. All of our meals were excellent and tasted homemade. Various pasta dishes, chicken and salmon. Wait staff was friendly, very attentive but not intrusive. Removed used plates after various courses timely. Would definitely return for another occasion.

I requested a reservation online for a large family meal after an interment at Immaculate Conception Cemetery. Our family was flying in from all over the country. I was very impressed that the owner called me right away and confirmed the reservation after offering his condolences several times. Matthew explained that there would be another larger group plus open tables which was of no concern to us but it was nice that he fully explained the size of the restaurant. The younger adults and children established their own territory at the table leaving the elder statesmen to speak freely. The staff was polite, polished and very attentive without ever being intrusive. Most of the adults ordered seafood and the respective meals were fresh and extremely well prepared. My mom always loved restaurants like this and she would have been very pleased that we were all fortunate enough to find Matthews and share quality time together as a family....thank you Matthew.

Great stuffed pork chop and appetizers!Service is always top shelf. Been coming here for 20 years! You can easily park and have a drink at the bar while you wait for friends/family.For some reason I always get the stuffed pork. Probably due to the fact that it is the best I have ever had. Not cheap but well worth it!

Our initial pasta course was very good. Followed by a tasty salad. My entree, a veal dish with Italian ham also exceeded my expectations. For dessert, all were treated to some delicious cookies and some quality coffee. My only complaint relates to the time required to get through lunch. Service itself was terrific, I think the kitchen was overwhelmed by the number of diners that day.

The food is excellent, hands down from what the group I was with said. I am Gluten Sensitive & at the time, this place was not accommodating so I had mussels and a salad Kindly sucks when you are with a group and they indulge & you have to split the bill. Ok - onto my review: The place is really SMALL & tables are too close together so if you like family style with people next to you - this is for you. THE NOISE FACTOR is nothing short of absolutely annoying. The night we were there the owner sang, great voice, however, with the place being packed and people talking it was truly a non-enjoyable night out. We could have done without his singing. Parking is on the street so prepare to walk on a Fri or Sat. There is a bakery connected to the restaurant which is really good. THE OWNER SHOULD INVEST IN SOME NOISE FILTERING products to put on the ceiling or walls to make this a more enjoyable dining experience. Also some GLUTEN FREE dishes would be encouraged since many people have this sensitivity especially when a person has a thyroid disease !!!
