We met up with friends here for a nice meal out. After our waitress had the wine opened we agreed on 6 items off the hot/cold antipast menu. A mix of cured meats, cheeses and peppers. I enjoyed all of them. Dinner was a veal dish with risotto. It was ok. I was hungry and did not mind it, but from a flavor profile view, it was a bit bland. Risotto is tough because the longer it sits, it becomes more glutenous and when not prepared to order its going seize up a bit. Dessert, on a whim, I orderd the tri-color Italian cake and it was outstanding. Picture included.

We celebrated my sisters getting her masters in nursing and had dinner here for about 12 people. Besides the challenges of finding parking, itâs very accessible. The server was very sweet and attentive and the overall atmosphere is casual and comfortable. We had our 4 year old and it was way past her bedtime, so we quickly ordered a margarita pizza. It was perfect for her and for us. We also shared the aracini. The pasta fishers were very generous in size and flavorful. Itâs BYOB which makes it more economical for large parties. Overall good good and great service for a crowd.

We walked in to the restaurant side, sat down, waited for about ten minutes, and never got served. We left. It was freezing in there (in the winter) and nobody ever even bothered to come check and see if anyone was in there. We were the only people in the place, but it wasn't during an off time! It was dinner time... we will never try it again. After the terrible experience, I reached out to them on their website and facebook, and nobody got back to me. Terrible customer serivce.
We order the Margerita pie (on the thin side) almost every Friday night, and it's great! My husband also likes the sausage stromboli. I think the only other item we've ever ordered is a house salad, and it was good. We've usually use their delivery service. But we have gone into the restaurant a few times and have always been greeted pleasantly - especially by the owner.

First, this is a bring your own booze place. There is a liquor store a block away so you can buy your stuff there. The restaurant is very accommodating in regard to whatever you bring in to drink. The service was excellent. The food was very good. We tried the Barada cheese, which is handmade⦠Delicious. We also had the veal and beef meatballs for an appetizer. It was huge! I had the scallops with cauliflower purée and it was delicious. The desserts were great too. Definitely a neat place, even though itâs quite small. Make a reservation using OpenTable.

Called ahead to reserve a table and glad we did. Seated right away, our waitress Jordon was excellent, handling 8 people's orders without issue. Ordered a salad for the table which was perfect then order pizza. Fantastic, being from NJ and now living south, we can't find pizza like this..will be back.

Visited 01/05/2019We've been coming here for many years. The only reason we don't come here more often is because there are some many restaurants in Montclair and the surrounding area and so little time, but Corso 98 is definitely one of our favorites. We definitely need to come here more frequently. For our appetizer we started with the mussels with sausage, which is a tasty and filling dish, easily enough for 2. I had the grilled center cut prime pork chop âcarellaâ, with roasted 'taters' on a bed of broccoli rabe and roasted vinegar hot peppers. (but not too hot.) My wife has the Chilean Sea bass, which she loved. Obviously this didn't come 'alone'... I just can't remember what accompanied this tasty fish, but Corso does a terrific job with their sea bass. We're trying to cut back on desserts, so none of that on this trip. We (of course) did bring some wine to enhance these fine meals. Can't beat a BYO!

"The atmosphere of Fascino, with its minimalist cream and deep red decor, borders on stark but not casual. The complexity's in the entrees, where flavors, scents and textures fuse seamlessly. Puree of kobacha squash soup with oregano crema and hazelnut oi
Fascino is a wonderful place - lovely rooms, excellent service, a terrific menu and absolutely everything was well executed. It's not especially fancy, but warm, friendly, efficient and our group of four had a memorable evening sharing the oysters, roasted Spanish octopus, pappardelle with braised lamb sugo (my personal favorite), halibut, and strip steak, and a side of parmigiana spaetzle (because, you know, who wouldn't), and there was not a misstep or off note throughout. I can't say I'd drive the two hours we would need to get there, but if I have any reason again to be near Montclair, I'd go back in a heart beat.

I requested a reservation online for a large family meal after an interment at Immaculate Conception Cemetery. Our family was flying in from all over the country. I was very impressed that the owner called me right away and confirmed the reservation after offering his condolences several times. Matthew explained that there would be another larger group plus open tables which was of no concern to us but it was nice that he fully explained the size of the restaurant. The younger adults and children established their own territory at the table leaving the elder statesmen to speak freely. The staff was polite, polished and very attentive without ever being intrusive. Most of the adults ordered seafood and the respective meals were fresh and extremely well prepared. My mom always loved restaurants like this and she would have been very pleased that we were all fortunate enough to find Matthews and share quality time together as a family....thank you Matthew.

LuNello Restaurant believes the enjoyment of fine food is among the finer things in life. Since 1990, Chef Seger's use of out-of-the ordinary ingredients, homemade pastas, and innovative specials has created a loyal following. His modern flair mixed with
A mainstay restaurant for all newjerseyians. Vintage, charming and beautiful. Great for ladies who lunch, business and special occasions. The menu is fabulous. The chef reigns here too. Service is flawless. But skip for motherâs day brunch, when the service and crowds ruin the place. Fine restaurants should not attempt to roll out food commonly when they provide superior service all year round.
