This is a popular place if you want a sausage sandwich. Every time that I am in the Farmer's Market, I notice that the line here goes around the bends. After eating one of the sandwiches I understand why, they are great. Got to try them.

Never had a bad meal...my fav is the chili cheese dog...ridiculously good home made chili ed nailed it!! Owner makes you feel like family..I truly believe he's happy to see his customers. Great sausage and meatball sandwiches...we live in New Jersey and go to Delaware just for these dogs!!!!
I recently stopped at Pat's Pizzeria for lunch. I ordered a meatball parmigiana sub. When I received the sandwich, it was hot, the cheese was gooey and the meatballs were large. Everything about this sandwich was delicious. I recommend this place for sandwiches, pizza, Italian dishes, and salads.

What a great food stop on the NYC to Washington corridor, as you cross from New Jersey at the toll booth Adminstration Building. The kitchen is run by Marriot and the chef has won nationally acclaimed awards for his cakes. Open Mon - Fri, breakfast and lunch only. CASH only!!!Wraps, Salads, excellent soups, endless grill options and CHEAP! I'm a regular! The restroom facilities are immaculate! Cafeteria style service. Open at 7 am.....Closed at 2 pm

Anytime I'm in the vicinity of northern Delaware, I try to swing by The Dog House. It is a simple, no frills place - all business. The dogs are the larger style, and the fries thick cut. Worth a visit.
This subway has great food and service. I had a chicken teriyaki sub and my friend got a chicken bon ranch sub. They were both delicious. Watch for coupons for subway in the newspaper and mail. In the past we have gotten buy one get one. Good place to eat.

There was a variety of hot dog combinations but I did not think the value of the meal was commensurate with the cost. There was a lot of toppings but to coin a phrase from an old Wendy's commercial, "Where's the beef" or meat.

I have been eating at The Doghouse since the 1950âs. Although the menu is not large, there are a variety of toppings for the delicious hot dogs, cheesesteaks, and fries. There also is a section where pizza and subs are offered. Take out is available. Be patient as there is usually a wait for one of the stools, but it is worth it!
