We live close by and wanted to try so met a friend for food and drinks. We all liked the atmosphere and tv's and wasn't too crowded on a week night so we could talk and not scream thru music! Our waitress was a bit spacey and got some things wrong with out order but she was quirky and sweet so it didn't bother any of us. Everyone enjoyed their food! The only thing that irritated me is that I had to tell them three times to put toilet paper in the ladies room!!!!! I almost had to call a manager! I would recommend trying! The menu is very diverse, not just wings! You will be able to find something!!

Went here with a friend to grab a beer. The live music was pretty good, and the prices for the beer were quite reasonable ($5 for Guinness, $3.5 for Yeungling). The staff was really friendly, and quite helpful. The only complaint that I had was that the outside patio was enclosed, so it was very smoky, and the smoke also wafted into the main bar.

Sitting outdoors here on a lovely late spring day is quite nice. Our waiter, Cody, was the best: he was able to provide great comebacks for my brotherâs offbeat humor, was attentive, and was courteous. We had the calamari which were good but the sauce (what was that?) doesnât pair well. The wings were good but so sticky--we shouldâve been provided wet-naps! The desserts are disgustingly too large, and my mother thought the crab sandwich had too much filler. Actually, it was Cody who made our visit here great.

We'd lived within about a mile or two from the Old Rail Tavern for over 30 years and had never eaten there. After a good friend recommended it highly, we decided to give it a try.Reviews on TripAdvisor had given good marks to the Double Porker, with pulled pork, cheddar cheese, and bacon, so I ordered that. My wife got the cheesesteak "wit whiz."Both sandwiches were excellent, and the prices were very reasonable. Our waitress was friendly and prompt, and she checked back a couple of times to see if we needed anything.Since it was our first time there, we ate in the bar areaâwe weren't aware that there were other tables on the upper level. However, the activity in the busy bar area, which reminded us of the TV show "Cheers," was fun and lively, and there were plenty of TVs to watch while we waited for our food.We regret that it took so long to discover the Old Rail, but, now that we have, it'll be one of our regular go-to places. Next time we'll try the pizza, which looked very good.

Great, attentive service and pace. We started with calamari and chicken meatballs - very good. Had short ribs (decent), pork chops (very good), bloody beet salad (excellent), and daily special seared ahi (excellent, prepared well, complex seasoning).Second time here. Great menu choices and local foods. Craft beers. Will be back

Obviously my negative review is of the minority, but I cannot say much to be desired about this restaurant (or at least in my experience). My husband didn't like it, and he never complains! This was our first and only visit to this restaurant. Our first impression walking in the door was that it was loud, very loud. It was a Saturday, around 12:35pm. They only offered a brunch menu, which I thought was strange for a Saturday. The menu was very limited, but not ordinary so we thought to give it a try. The waiter did not come over for 10 minutes for our drink order, and did not return for an additional 15 minutes. 25 minutes to order our food was too long, mostly because all this time we're waiting in a very LOUD restaurant. 15 minutes later the food comes, and not properly prepared. The over medium eggs came well done(the yolks were both broken), and the kids grilled cheese was hard as a rock to bite into(don't ever serve a kid thick bread), and my "fancy" grilled cheese was equally inedible(hard). Of course, I had to search for someone to inform the disaster of a meal we were served. We waited 40 minutes for goodness sake, and to have a crummy meal was unfortunate to say the least. Upon further inspection of my kids sandwich, I discovered why it was brick hard...rather than making A PROPER grilled cheese(how basic is it to make a grilled cheese?) the cook placed the 2 pieces of thick bread with cheese face up on a broiler pan, shoved it it the broiler to melt the cheese, then manually placed the pieces together. Why in the world would this cook do that? no clue. We should have left as soon as we walked in. Lesson learned...We left very dissatisfied and hungry... :-(

First time visitor from out of state. Impressed by the large crowd for a Friday afternoon. Spacious interior with a very good, and varied, menu. Service was prompt, courteous, and very attentive. Would definitely visit again, perhaps at a time when the noise level subsided.

The food was really excellent but the service could have been better . We enjoyed the drinks as well . My husband had fish and chips . I had shaved roast beef on sour dough bread . It was very tender and delicious.! My husbands fish was flaky and said it was good . They gave chips with my meal they were home made and yummy . I would go back and recommend it . Thank you for the review Laurie! We are so glad you and your husband enjoyed your meal. We appreciate all feedback as it gives us an opportunity to make improvements within our store. We apologize for the service and we hope that it doesn't discourage you from giving us another try!Hope to see you again soon!
