Here at Tapastre we serve American small plates in the tapas style. âTapasâ describes not so much a type of food, but a tradition of eating small appetizers accompanied with a favorite wine, beer, or cocktail. Here at Tapastre we provide a casual, lounge-
Donât really like the food here at all! But that wonât be affecting my review because when I went in, it was solely to try the beer they offer! And the beer was amazing, plenty of options and they are updated and switched out weekly, you wonât regular beer here! Definitely go in and have a flight of beers to try various ones.

We planned to meet some family members in Somerville for dinner. We wanted to try a new restaurant and found one that seemed interesting. They told us they had been closed but Saturday night was their grand reopening, when asked about the menu we were told it was going to be a surprise. Well it was, two entree's and a some prepared food on a warming tray. We choose to eat elsewhere. It was 5:45 on a Saturday night, no reservation and we tried several nearby restaurants, no luck. At 6:00 we went into Boulevard Seafood company and they managed to squeeze us in and we are so glad they did. The service was excellent, the food very good to excellent and according to everyone the maple creme brûlée was just about the best example of this classic dessert they had ever had. For dinner I had the octopus and shrimp salad (which was good, but needed a bit of seasoning, my adding some lemon and black pepper still left it a bit bland) and the grilled shrimp street tacos, which were very tasty and larger than expected. Other diners in our party had the seafood risotto (excellent), the raw oysters (very good) and another octopus and shrimp salad and the pappardelle and gulf shrimp (good)

Travelling thru the US it is really nice to see Tim Hortoms when you want a dark roast coffee on the way thru. I have often found dunkin donuts coffe to be cold in the cup as they use those thermal carafes and dont seem to have quality control checks on them. Tims is piping hot alwaus.

Uncle Vinnies Market is under the same ownership as Uncle Vinnies Clam Bar two doors down the street.
While both Uncle Vinnie's places are good, this is more your casual place. They don't serve liquor like the other place, but the food is top notch. They have amazing butter to go with the bread. Cool little lunch/dinner entrees. This is exactly what you want in a seafood place.

The Cheesecake Factory offers something for everyone featuring a wide variety of over 200 menu items prepared fresh to order each day, plus over 30 legendary varieties of the Finest Cheesecake.
This place just keeps getting worse. I return only because of the dearth of restaurants in central Jersey. Charred meatloaf was first problem. Replacement burger came with cold mashed potatoes. Then was charged $6 for a slice of avocado on the burger. That was the last straw. I let the manager know my disgust and he appropriately did not charge for the burger. But the real question for management is: how did you let this place fall to such depths? Are you just gliding into bankruptcy or is there a rescue plan? Interesting that all priced just increased 20% despite no inflation in our economy. Not a smart move. We would like to speak with you a bit more about the experience you described. Recommend visiting, choose wisely. Steaks are not Ruth's Chris quality. seafood good, appetizers good, service mostly very good. Disappointed with the soft shell crab special. Beautiful large soft shell covered in way too much bread crumbs...just sautee' plain would have been better. veg's came out fine. other apps fine.

Stopped in for a spinach salad. Had some kind of chicken thing with corn, pumpkin seeds, tomatoes, etc. Other than the part that I dropped on my dress pants, I thought it was quite good with fresh ingredients.Definitely recommend.

Crowned as the" Best Bar in New Jersey" . Verve Continues the tradition of the Court House Cafe circa 1901, Verve is your landmark 23 year bistro of excellence. Situated in the heart of downtown Somerville, NJ, Verve serves the best in French bistro fare
The restaurant was full, so the service wasn't as attentive as I had expected, and the tables were close enough together that the conversations from adjacent tables was annoying. I noticed that none of the servers were smiling and I found that odd.I enjoyed my three appetizers and they were so filling that I didn't have room for dessert, other than a delicious glass of Warrior Port.I recommend the poached pear salad (I ordered the dressing on the side), the tuna tartare and the gnocchi (with brussel sprouts, feta and squash or pumpkin puree.)
