Enjoyed dinner here for birthday celebration...Restaurant is small but comfortable and location in center of town with a parking lot located behind restaurant, made for easy access. Server was friendly and attentive to table. Dinner consisted of appetizers of eggplant rollatini, shimp in garlic sauce, Brie cheese and fruit platter and artichoke with garlic sauce..all delicious, crabcake appe was small sized for price.. For dinner we enjoyed the pork chop, steak, shrimp dinner ..But only issue would be the dessert and coffee prices ..abit pricey..$10.50 for A piece of tiramisu ..and a small portion at that..Cappuccino was good but at $5.95 a cup..pass on dessert/coffee.!!

Beana's Para Siempre is the Mexican restaurant for Rahway, NJ locals. Funky food and eclectic decor make a feast for the eyes and fiesta for the mouth!
Have not been to Beanas in a long time and we were disappointed! The salsa looked like they made it with stewed tomatoes! The guacamole decent but bland. Taco meat good but very little lettuce and cheese! On a positive note the beans are very good and so was the service. Miss Carlos and Kerry! Prices too high for the quality. Sorry but probably wonât return again !Hola! We are super sorry to here that everything wasn't perfect. We would like to start off by saying that we also miss Kerri so very much, Carlos still lives in town and drops by at least once a week to say hello and enjoy a "great taco dinner". The first thing we did 7 years ago was drop the price on all menu items about 10%. Then we really started to focus on what customers said they liked and didn't like about the food and restaurant. The majority said the salsa wasn't chunky enough so we added some more fresh tomatoes, the Guacamole didn't taste real so we started making it with fresh avocados, they didn't like the rugs so we put in new wooden floors, and the list continues.... Everything we have upgraded so far has cost us more profit but it has also made us more happy customers and that is our main goal!We always ask a couple of quick questions. How did the server react when you ask the for more cheese and lettuce on your tacos and is there anything we can do to make your future experience more pleasurable? We really hope that you would give us another shot, and when you do come back just tell our server exactly how you would like your food. P.S. Fast casual restaurant with staple sandwiches made famous through the years
Owner Mike is friendly and manages his team for fast service. The chicken or beef/ lamb gyro sandwiches are delicious, also the similar platters and the Greek salad, but they also have good burgers and hot dogs and breakfast sandwiches or plates. Very clean and convenient.

I live in the neighborhood - it was one of those days I did not feel like to cook so we went there. Nice place, clean... their menu choices are plentiful...the dinner comes with a salad bar, soup and a desert... and here comes our main dish - big portions!!!! So be careful with salad bar:)... the food was good but the wait service is kind of lacking... oh well there is room for improvement

Our kids gave my wife and me a gift certificate and it was just after Valentine's Day that we decided to have dinner at this well respected restaurant. Reservations were handled without a problem as we were seated on time. Very elegant dining room, with high back chairs and comfortable large chairs. My wife had a salad for her appetizer and I had the coconut shrimp with a mustard sauce for mine. Both were excellent as were our entrees, pasta for my wife and grilled tuna, prepared perfectly for me. Home made ice cream topped the dinner. The service and atmosphere was excellent. While a more limited menu that most other restaurants (there were no specials on the Saturday night) the selections were fine. Highly recommended and it's BYOB. Cost would run about $125 per couple without the gratuity. Well worth the price.

Needed a place where I could take a client, eat quickly, and then head to the train station. This one fit the bill. It had your typical diner selections. However, we went in a bit on the later side for lunch (2:15PM) and the service showed. We were challenged to find someone to wait on us, and then it took longer than usual to be served. it could have just been the time of day? I order the Tuscany panini which was tasty and my colleague had the Buffalo chicken wrap. It was an abundance of food, which is typical of the diners in the area, and the cost is what you would expect. I was just underwhelmed with the service since it was a struggle to order, get our food and then get the check.
The cocktails were were well-thought out. The small plates were fun to share and interesting. The entrees were enjoyable. The room is airy, even though all of the tables were full we could comfortably conduct a conversation. We will return.

Small and cozy restaurant near Rahway station. One waiter trying to take care of all tables is probably the main cause of some slowdown in service. Interesting menu - as an Italian I dutifully avoided pasta dishes but found satisfaction in a calamari starter and a duck pie. Dish presentation not great, but food seemed appreciated by the whole table.

I had a blackened chicken sandwich as is with a side salad. It was one of the best grilled chicken sandwiches I've had. Pickles seem made in house and the salad was mostly spinach with some iceberg, and a good chunky blue cheese. Better than your average bar sand, that's for sure.
