Finally decided to give Sheelanâs Crossing for dinner and really enjoyed the food. The menu is extensive with a variety of choices of appetizers, salads, entrees and sandwiches. For dinner we had the Raspberry BBQ Pulled Pork with sweet potatoes and chicken wings. The atmosphere is very homey and comfortable along with great service. Give Sheelanâs Crossing a try and you will not be disappointed. Looks can be deceiving by judging the outside of the restaurant. We will return for great food and to try the crab cakes, steak and other menu options.

The menu had so many tempting items. I went with the Chicken Parmesan dinner. My wife had a Mushroom and Swiss burger. Both were wonderful. The burger was very large and my wife enjoyed it and took home half. My Chicken Parmesan on linguine with homemade marinara was amazing. The chicken so tender and plentiful. Service was great and personable, despite the restaurant being very busy. A very enjoyable dinner. Weâll be back for sure.

For me a diner is all about 24-hour breakfast, fast, personable service, fresh ingredients done to order, ample portions and comfortable, clean surroundings. The Park Avenue Diner delivers. Been there a dozen times over the years. Always return when visiting Plainfield/Edison.
if you are any where near here you must visit the place where buffalo wings were invented, so much food on your plate and so tasty ,l remembered this when they came to England so had to try lovely place and brill food
White Castle is a different kind of fast food - almost iconic. Their original slider has been around since 1921.My favorite is the Jalapeno Cheese Slider. But their menu is more extensive than you might think. They feature 14 different sliders and 7 different sides. I found the French Fries a little unexciting, but the Onion Rings and Chicken Rings were interesting. Even the chocolate shakes are good. We've been to this particular location a number of times in the past few years - and no reason to stop.TIP - this location has a narrow parking lot. It's easy driving in, but there's a hairpin turn on the way out of the drive through. Not everyone gets the Crave... but once you do - you may enjoy a White Castle as much as I do.

Good food, tasty predictable menu. After hiking Sourland mountain trails we were a bit hungry and good appetite is the best cook. The restaurant was very busy. The wait - during which we consumed handfuls of their traditional peanuts - was short and they have a beeper system to alert customers when their table is ready. The service was truly good, quick and efficient. Our steaks arrived quickly and exactly to our specifications. Nice upbeat atmosphere. The usual personnel dances and corporate "I love my job"shirts.

This laid-back pub in Scotch Plains is a great place to go and grab lunch, dinner or a quick drink. The staff is very nice and the food is good too. I had a burger and had asked for well-done fries. Most places under cook the fries but this place got it right! And the food was very good. I recommend this place for a casual bite to eat or a drink at the bar.
Just ordered some fried whiting, greens, & candy yams. First I want to say that it is very important to support your local family business and the fact that this is a black woman owned business really pulls on my heart strings. So the restaurant gets a 4 over all. The food & customer service was superb, but the atmosphere and presentation of the sides made it lose a star. (Yes I know I gave it 5 starts, because some people I know this is my personal preference. Lol)

Three dining options: First, The original StageHouse Restaurant, offering fine dining in an elegant county inn setting. Built in 1737 this historic inn boasts many small dining rooms with a fireplace in each room. The Stage House Restaurant offers an ala
This is a big location, including snug dining spaces, an airy barroom, and even a courtyard for outdoor dining, weather permitting. I went for the pan seared black bass, which was cooked just right, and served with an interesting mix of veggies that each contributed their own flavour and texture to the mix: fennel, broccoli rabe, roasted shallots, butternut squash, and mustard sauce â very nicely balanced, and well presented too.

We parked in the lot right in front of the restaurant, and a valet promptly and warmly welcomed us. Even though we were the first couple of a foursome to arrive, we were offered our seats at the table and promptly served a bread basket and water while we waited for our friends. How nice! We were given one of the coveted tables right by the window with the best view. When our friends arrived, we ordered a variety of appetizers and main dishes which were all excellent. Service by our waitress, Ronnie, was extremely professional and courteous. The ice cream sandwich desert was delicious, and the coffee was hot and rich in coffee flavor, a rarie to find in most restaurants today. Of great importance to us is that the dining room is very quiet and very conducive to conversation. No loud music like you find in too many restaurants these days. The bill was reasonable for the terrific experience. Based on this one experience,I would definitely return even though I donât live nearby.
