We have gone to this restaurant on Friday's Eve. For NYC: it is average hotel restaurant (next to hotel lobby). Nothing was special. A waiter has pushed for high priced items and more alcohol. There are many other options available in Midtown. So save yourself time. For a nice view - go to lounge upstairs.

Recently was in NYC for Book Expo. This little gem was a few minutes from my hotel, "Yotel" and The Javits Center where BEA is held. I ate at least one meal here for 4 days. Lots of great buffet choices that you can customize to your taste and pay by weight. They had several counters where other hot items could be ordered. And their juice/smoothie/coffee bar was excellent! There is nothing you could want that you couldn't find here and it is a curated inventory of healthy, nutritious choices. And it was super busy, so everything in the buffet was always fresh. The service was great. And there is a small eating area if you don't want to take it to go. Prices were reasonable for the quality.

I started working here and thereâs nothing in this town. Even the company cafeteria is better than most of restaurants here. After trying all the restaurants in this area, this is by far the best restaurant in terms of ambiance, service, and food.I actually think the prices here are quite affordable and not four dollar signs. Really love the view and the variety of food here. Definitely my goto place for dinner in this area. Iâm a club member so I get points for eating here.Ruthâs would be my second choice only because itâs mostly a steak place and ambiance is so-so plus way too close to my workplace for me to be comfy.

This was convenient to our hotel around the corner and our group of 4 stopped in for a late bite to eat on a Saturday night. We were seated promptly. Our server was pleasant and attentive. Our drinks came quickly and our food was prepared as ordered. A recent Vegetarian, I found no vegetarian meals on the menu, which was a little disappointing. I opted for a Shrimp Pad Thai without the Shrimp. It was tasty but not really enough of a meal to be truly satisfying.

The bagels were fantastic! The fillings too! They let me taste test a few before I decided. I ultimately went with Chipotle avocado on everything & blueberry on plain. I wasnt disappointed! Only wish I had more room for more goodies.

Since the launch of Jacobs Pickles on the Upper West Side of NY in late 2011, the Pickles team has been committed to sharing their love for food and community. âEverything we do is about bringing good food to good peopleâ, says Jacob. âI couldnât find thi
Went here for lunch; this is a high energy place that emphasizes southern-style dishes (and craft pickles of course). We were seated promptly and the service was quick and smooth. Portions are huge as others have mentioned. I thought the chicken, pickles etc were decent, but not to die for. And the place is really loud....not modern restaurant loud...but âIâm standing next to the speaker at the clubâ loud. You literally have to shout to have a conversation. I guess thatâs the way they like it but really, Iâm just trying to eat and talk here.....Overall its not bad, Iâd go back if invited but the noise level is really excessive IMHO.

We have a vacation home nearby and have celebrated many family events there under prior ownership- havenât been back in a long time= with lobster prime rib specials thought weâd check it out w friends - took forever to get a drink order-had to flag down a waiter - 6:30 on Wednesday only a couple other tables...no bread brought until requested after the entrees arrived- dinner was fine but nothing special - service only if you hunted them down, used to love this place-:( Hi KJDbiz1,Thank you for your review! It gives us an opportunity to make corrections. And we certainly made some Staff changes and brought in some Professionals. We'd like to invite you back. Hopefully you'll give another opportunity to correct the wrong.Best,LSS

The restaurant is owned by brothers John and Tommy Greco along with their longtime friend Christian Tanno. The Greco name should ring a bell: Chef/Restaurateur John oversees the beloved Village eatery Philip Marie (open 18 years) that serves up delicious
Nice friendly restaurant providing very good steaks, the Filet Mignon was superb. The whole experience was good until payment time. Unfortunately the experience was ruined to some extent by a waiter who chose to overcharge an item on the bill &, instead of discreetly apologising & removing the overcharge, took the option to loudly & repeatedly 'argue his case' in front of all the diners. Regretably the Management, who where in earshot, chose to ignore the issue until we asked the waiter to call the Manager to our table - only then did they remove the overcharge from the bill.As stated above - good food but I would suggest that all potential diners keep an eye on their bills. Scoring would have been higher if the overcharge incident had been dealt with properly.

This place has a great reputation as an events venue, however the restaurant dine-in experience is lacking. Yes there are great views and yes there is something great about eating by the water. However the ambiance and atmosphere at this place doesnât feel welcoming. From the moment you are greeted to be seated, you get the sense that things are rushed and the quality of service suffers as a result. Then there is the seating arrangements - tables and seats need to be changed. They lack the look and feel of quality that you expect from a prestigious place such as this one. These things donât take away from the fact that this place has great good. The quality is exceptional and the choices are relatively unique. If the service and ambiance woes can be corrected, this place could make for a 5 star dining experience.
