We're glad that Hamilton's Grill Room has returned as one of the better restaurants of the area. It had been top notch, but had slipped in both service and quality. Now that Brian (of Brian's also in Lambertville) has taken over, the food is great again, the setting is nice (both inside and outside) and the service is great. Being a BYOB is a plus also.

Plenty of tables and bar seats inside as well as an outdoor patio that overlooks the New Hope & Ivyland Railroad. There are also several pool tables. Good variety of beer with flights available. Very good nut brown ale. The food menu is somewhat limited, but the prices are reasonable. This locationâs menu is different from the Princeton and Red Bank locations. Good friendly service the bar. The corn chowder was served very quickly and was delicious â should have ordered a bowl instead of a cup. Was told that many of the ingredients/meats used on their menu come from local farms. Very good pulled pork sandwich which came with Cole slaw on top of the pulled pork and also includes a small side salad. Would definitely return for the beer.

We are regulars here and enjoy the ambiance, great service while enjoying breakfast or lunch watching the comings and goings on Bridge St. Recommended are the quesadillas (they will make to order and add crab if you wish), and vegetarian burger which is tasty and delicious. They offer dinner every month on the date of the full moon which is an extra bonus. Servings are plentiful and we never leave hungry.

My partner & I adore this place! Itâs the perfect getaway on a weekend for brunch or lunch. Also a great place to go for happy hour. Grab a bit, longer for a second round, and stroll the town at a leisurely pace. Recommendations: the crab cake sandwich, the beef short rib & fried egg burger, and the Korean beef tacos. Drinks are refreshing and lovingly crafted. If youâre lucky to be there when James, the bartender is in duty, ask him to make you something special. You canât go wrong. Absolutely one of the best places in New Hope! Hope to see you there!

I had several negative experiences here last summer and had sworn to never return. A birthday party brought me there, much to my and several of my dining partners regrets. ANY restaurant can overcook a seafood dish and frankly, almost any can serve a dish with a 1 1/2" glass shard in the vegetables (being generous here!). How those things are handled is what is critical. In this case a sour faced GM seemed put out that, yes - you do need to replace the overdone fish. And when the shard was pointed out she took it, asked what the diner had eaten, and stormed off. NEVER WAS THERE AN APOLOGY FOR EITHER. Too many GREAT restaurants with great food and service and attitude in this area to ever return here.

I visit Lambertville a few times a year and I have a couple of restaurants that I really enjoy. On this visit, I only had one night so I could only pick one. I looked at the menu of my favorite place and wasnât overly-excited by the eveningâs offerings. Thatâs when I looked online at the menu for Antonâs. I saw that they were serving guinea hen and the decision was made. I absolutely love guinea hen and we so rarely get it here in this country. I had eaten at the bar once before and enjoyed it, but never the restaurant. I also liked that I could make an online reservation through OpenTable. The restaurant was nearly empty on a Thursday night, which made me nervous. Granted, it was the week after New Yearâs. I was shown to a nice table and given the menu. The main course was already decided, so it was just the appetizer and wine. I opted for the endive, bleu cheese and walnut salad. I donât often chose salad as a starter, but this is one of my favorite salads. I was not disappointed. It was a very generous portion and the vinaigrette had a very good mustardy tang. It was perfectly balanced. I opted for a glass of prosecco to go with it and the particular prosecco they were offering had just the right amount of sweetness to compliment the salad. The main course arrived and after just one bite, I was in heaven. The meat was absolutely perfectly cooked. The skin was crispy and salty (I like salt!), while the meat was tender and succulent. The risotto with porcini on the plate was not very well done, but that didnât diminish my enjoyment. I had a glass of Cotes du Rhone with my main. All the desserts sounded fabulous, but I went with the butterscotch pots du crème. When I tasted it, I was pleasantly surprised to find a hint of salt in it. The whipped cream with biscotti crumbs just took this simple dish up a notch.Everything I ate at Antonâs was perfectly prepared. Compliments to the chef for turning out good, honest, high quality food.

Came here for an anniversary dinner. Seated quickly in a rather unique restaurant (former church). Our server was Rebecca who was professional and friendly. The food was delicious and served as ordered. But leave room for dessert. We had an excellent cinnamon cake. Just delicious. Reservations recommended.

My wife and I visit the New Hope / Lambertville area quite frequently and always enjoy visiting the quaint shops and restaurants. Nektar used to be one of our favorites; we enjoyed sitting along the rail, people watching and having drinks. We loved the meatball sliders with basil with a glass of wine. Then we visited earlier in the year, tried to order a glass of wine and was told it was only served by the bottle (this was the same wine I had ordered many times before). Ordered something else instead. Got the meatball sliders; something changed, they didn't taste as good for some reason (maybe the bad taste left in my mouth by being told I had to order a full bottle of wine in order to get a glass that I had ordered many times before). The straw that broke our back came this past Tuesday. My wife and I walked in around 3:30pm and wanted to get a few drinks and some snacks. The place was not terribly busy and we saw a nice table (a 4 top) along the window. When my wife asked to be seated she was told it would be a 30 minute wait. When she pointed out the table she was told they like to save them for parties of 3 - 4 people. Rather than wait we decided to head across the street to Karla's where we were invited to sit anywhere we'd like.

Last night my husband and I had another delicious meal at DâFloret. Chef Dennis might not be in the kitchen every night but his artistry is, prepared by his sous chef, Maria. She cooked alongside him for many years. I had the salmon and my husband had the scallops. Both dishes were prepared to perfection. Donât miss an opportunity to dine here. You wonât be disappointed. And itâs a BYO. Enjoy!!!
