A gastro-pub starts with the elements of a classic pub and then blends in gourmet food. RHI elevates these basic ingredients to a new level. The result is a casual-yet-refined atmosphere that welcomes craft beer aficionados, wine connoisseurs, foodies, an
This is a good local restaurant/pub with a dedicated following. I've eaten there numerous times over the years. One of these days I would love to try their famous burgers, BUT they refuse to stock gluten-free rolls in spite of wait staff telling me they get requests every day for GF rolls and have told management as such. Burgers don't taste the same without a roll, so I have yet to have one. Note to management: Shoprite is 1/2 mile down the road -- go buy a package of GF rolls for goodness sake.Lack of GF rolls aside, the food is tasty and the wait staff accommodating. They have salmon and other options for GF folks. The restaurant itself is VERY noisy inside, but there is a small patio outside that is pleasant and quieter. Heat lamps outside in the transition seasons would be a wonderful addition. There is optional free valet parking (Thurs-Sat, I think) for those who want it, but there is usually parking on the street for those who eschew valets. For beer enthusiasts, you'll love the selection. All in all, a good, solid local restaurant.

Yesterday was my second time at this establishment, and I was even more impressed than my first visit. Everything about the food and service was top notch, without the overly-stuffy feeling of some finer dining. And Sunday's are a special treat with half price wine on almost every bottle they carry. This makes some of their nicer bottles of wine an absolute steal. I can't wait to go back.

I have always loved Buffalo Wild Wings but my latest visit left a sour taste in my mouth. My friend and I had ordered online, which took several attempts as the site seemed to have glitches (should have taken this as a sign), we went to pick it up, server Lauren seemed nice; Lauren opened up all of the wing boxes to show us they were all there, which seemed very professional and thoughtful since the order was large. Then she went to bring us the 4 large fountain sodas when we asked for a drink tray, she said she doesn't have any. (Ok, no big deal, we made 2 trips to the car). When we got home, we realized there was no ice cream (that was supposed to come with the dessert) and we were missing the chocolate cake all together along with a lemonade. I called and spoke with Derrick who said he would call me back regarding a refund....Derrick called me back minutes later and told me refund was given....oh and he could NOT remember how much he refunded! He sounded unprofessional over the phone. And long story short, it has been more than two weeks since this event and still no refund posted! I am going to choose my battles and this is not even worth it. Next time, just put the freakin cake in the order!

THere are two Stage House Taverns = same ownere. One in Scotch Plains, NJ is on tripadvisor, the Somerset one is not.
Hadn't been back to this restaurant in a long while, so was not expecting the significant changes to decore & menu. It was a Saturday evening, so it was busy & noisy, but service was very good. The menu was extensive enough to please 3 generations of eaters, portions & food quality were awesome.

I was in Florida and looking for a good steak. Longhorn was suggested so I went. They were right. I did not expect a good steak from a regular restaurant but it was made just the way I ordered and it was very good. I would go back again.

So you don't walk into IHOP expecting a foodie experience, let's be realistic. That said, they have a lot of reasonably good comfort food options, with a decent selection of options at a reasonable calorie count (not everyone can say that these days). Our server was actually fantastic. I wish I remembered his name, but he was upbeat, regularly checked on us, never rushed us, and was very pleasant. The food was reasonably good. I opted for the choc chip pancakes, which never disappoint. Light, fluffy, nice selection of syrups, all for an overall pleasant experience.

This is a small diner with a few counter seats, booths and tables. You can hear the sounds of breakfast meals being prepared in the kitchen area. The breakfast menu is a decent size with a good variety of breakfast items that includes specials. Good service, my coffee was served right away. Absolutely delicious pumpkin pancakes, which included eggs and delicious sausage links. Reasonably priced and well worth it.
