This location was a Mexican Restaurant, a small restaurant. The Draught Horse moved in and have done some big things with a small footprint. The look and feel of the place and its employees are welcoming. The food and beer are great. They have a craft style beer that will appeal to a Bud Light drinker (wife). The kitchen can rustle up some great food like the design your own mac'n cheese and a plate of house smoked chicken wings, both very good, pairing that with their Kolsch (wife) and the Hoptastic Voyage IPA. Haven't been disappointed yet. This is a very community oriented business. A great year round outdoor patio space available as well.

This is the best Starbucks I have been to and have sampled them across Michigan and even in Australia. Always friendly, the staff actually enjoys what they are doing and it shows. The only downside is that they do not stay open later than 9pm on weeknights and 10pm on weekends-but that won't stop me!

Although we live close by, we often forget about this place. Located in the Walmart/Lowes shopping center in New Hudson MI, The Kensington Grill serves up excellent barbecue. The quality of their food dishes is very good. They have other options as well. The decor is what you'd expect for a BBQ joint and the only disappointment was the service. Average at best. If you're in the area and are in the mood for BBQ, check this place out.

I'm moving to Michigan and have been living here in temporary housing since December. I have been searching for "MY Sushi Joint" for the past 4 months and I found it on Saturday, just down the street from where we have purchased a new home.
Umami is in a strip mall adjacent to the intersection of I-96 and Milford Road. It is small but impeccably clean and well appointed. My first visit was met with incredibly cheerful and welcoming crew. The restaurant owners are from Korea.
I dined at the Sushi bar and sampled all my regular favorites. The sushi was not only very tasty, it was presented in a colorful way with colorful garnishes of shredded beat, carrot and turnip. The rice was perfectly seasoned and the fish fresh. I also enjoyed a bow of miso soup with was hot and flavorful and a house salad, also crisp and flavorful. Prices were a bargain and service was top notch. I had 10 pieces of nigiri sushi, a tuna hand roll and a salmon roll with soup, salad and Pepsi and it cost me under $30.
Umami also has various Japanese noodle dishes and hot items on the menu as well as some traditional Korean dishes (Bibimbap, Bulgogi). It doesn't currently serve alcohol but are working on a a permit to change this. But they offer a range of soft drinks and tea.
Parking was plentiful and overflow is available in the adjacent shopping center.

Complimentary donuts? Can you say "Yes please"!!!! Took a while to get served but waitress was very busy...the whole place was hopping. We had breakfast and when they call something a full order...they aren't kidding. Yummy food, fun atmosphere. Dine in or out...even fun live music.

I have eaten at Leo's in several places and have never been disipointed. This was the same. A good clean restaurant with a great menu that would satisfy any appetite. Good food at reasonable prices with a good staff. You can't ask for more.

First time visit and we were impressed. The cafe was remarkably clean and food was fresh. I ordered a BLT. Very nice size with fresh romaine lettuce and a decent amount of bacon. Caesar salad was delicious and a fair portion. Loved the entertainment. It was a trio and they played old and new songs. They weren't intrusive and we could carry on a conversation or sing along if we felt like it. Felt like a neighborhood pub where everyone knows your name. Prices were kind of steep but wouldn't stop me from going back. Very impressed with American Flag and P.O.W. Flag on wall. I want to patronize businesses that value of flag and veterans.

Several years ago I discovered this restaurant in a nearby strip mall. I have eaten Thai cusine around the Detroit area since the first one opened (Siamese Twins) in the early 80s. There were a few top notch restaurants that have opened since then but many wanna-bees as well. Sawasdee 2 was good from the start and has only improved over time. The place does not try to create an "atmosphere" and is not huge maybe 12 tables but the food is excellent and the service is consistently good which makes for a 5 star rating. To me, food quality and service are what really makes a restaurant. You can find the decorations and big prices elsewhere, but if food and service are your top criteria, this is the place. The Pad Ped, and Pad Thai are great and their spring rolls also. Carry-out is available. The only negative was not the fault of the restaurant and that there is often a lack of parking spaces in the area at mealtime. The prices are reasonable so it won't cost you much to enjoy your first visit.

All entree’s were delicious! Tried the sushi appetizer and it was great! Crab Rangoon’s were sweet and creamy as well as crunchy. Egg rolls were delicious too! I had the almond chicken, there sauce is clear like a gravy. Different from what I’m used to but it was really good. Chicken and broccoli, chicken lomein, all veggies were fresh! Egg foo young wasn’t greasy like everywhere I’ve been. Brown gravy and all else was not salty either. I’ll definitely be ordering dinner there from now on!
