My wife ordered the pork gyro and I ordered the lamb gyro, along with a side order of hand cut fries. I thought my gyro was very good and my wife wasn't too keen on her's. The food was warm, not hot.Important to note: all other patrons had their food brought to their table, we had to go fetch our own. Interesting way to treat new customers. We will never visit this place again. Service is just that. If you want people to come again, you treat all the same.
While visiting the Nashua-Hudson area and a sibling said I had to try this place before returning home. He said the place was great and inexpensive. When a place gets a build-up like that, it's hard to live up to it. But with Mike's, it exceeded all my expectations. I tried two types of pizza: the signature "Sweet Sicilian" which was amazingly unique (the sauce is wonderful) and the Meat Lovers which was also great--especially the Italian sausage. Sometimes Meat Lover pizzas can be too greasy or soggy. But the crust on this one was terrific. We also tried the Buffalo Wings and they were amazing. Mike told me (he came by our table to see how we were doing) that he uses free range chicken. The handcut fries (yes, I ate a lot that evening) were superb as well. The ambience is homey and informal. You could actually hear one another speak. My highest praise is that I wish there was a place like this where I live. I'd be a regular.

Founded in 1961 by the Valerio family in East Boston, Papa Gino's has been serving the same thin-crust Italian-style pizza and supporting local New England communities for over half a century. With dough made fresh daily in Walpole MA from just five simpl
Stopped in for dinner with the family. I know this is a quick service place so we figured we would get in and out. I ordered the chicken parm and hubs ordered the papa platter. After waiting 25 minutes with almost no customers in the place I asked about out meals. It seemed pretty clear they forgot to get things going. It was also frustrating as there were at least 6 people behind the counter chatting it up. I don't expect amazing food and service at a place like this but come on. The food itself was ok, just ok.
Good sandwiches on the freshest bread around. Made fresh all the time. Fast service made while you watch.
