We really enjoyed our dinner. The menu is full of excellent choices. Our servings were large and very tasty. They have a star system for how hot/spicy the meals are. I like spicy food and ordered one with two stars. I would not want to try anything more. The service was excellent. The chef had a question on my friends's order so he came to the table and asked. It was nice to have that kind of service. The prices are reasonable

Imagine you have been traveling through the desert. For seven days. No food, no water. Poof! A magic genie transports you to the May Garden. âIâm saved,â you think. Not so fast. You feast on chicken of questionable vintage breaded in thrift store rejects. The fried rice..well, is that a rice kernel or is thatâ¦well, never mind. And the cockroaches? That may be your best choice. Bottom line: tell the genie âno thanksâ and go to McDonalds, a truck stop, or a vending machine. Give this place a wide berth.

It is interesting to me to read the ratings of Green Ginger from people who seem to be grading it on their Mai Tais and Pu Pu Platters. I've spent months in China, all over China, from Dalian to Dali, and this is the closest you are going to get to actual Chinese food anywhere within 50 miles of Tilton. It isn't like China, but at least there is a resemblance, and I believe these folks could do real Chinese food if there were a market for it in this area. I live fifteen miles away and often drive down for the sushi. I've eaten sushi in hundreds of places all over the world. This is quality sushi and sashimi at a very reasonable price. I am very glad we have Green Ginger. As for the waitstaff, I have never seen them rude or indifferent. Unlike restaurants where the staff seems to have no issue interrupting a conversation to as "is everything to your liking?" rather than simply letting you eat with friends, you may need to flag down waitstaff here. But that is how it is done in most parts of the world. It isn't rude, in my book, and I have had many nice chats with the staff here who are very kind to indulge my extremely poor Chinese and to tell me that I speak good Chinese (which I most certainly do not). Green Ginger gets my vote.

Half way between Boston and the ski resorts of Northern Vermont (Burke Mountain, Jay Peak, etc) the Tilton exit off I-93 offers a variety of pit stops and restaurants. The best of them is this place, an authentic, family owned and staffed Thai restaurant that serves up the best Thai cuisine that we have enjoyed in the US and in Bankock. Having now sampled a half dozen of the entrees, we think you cannot go wrong in your ordering â it only depends on your personal preferences. For instance, we love the many shrimp dishes, but there are a number of vegetarian platters that we have enjoyed as well. The pizza and diner options in this same plaza are big draws, but the real quality is at Vongs.
