Recently visited this amazing restaurant on a charming side street downtown. It was not where we initially planned to eat (bayside seafood place) but were thrilled we changed our mind. The wine list is top notch and they take advantage of the fresh seafood in town to offer an unbelievable sashimi/watermelon special and unbelievable octopus. Staff were uniformly friendly and helpful.

This restaurant's staff worked like a well-oiled machine. We found the restaurant a little too noisy....which is unusual for us to comment on. The food was average for an Italian restaurant. We probably won't return in light of all the great restaurants in this area.

Here's a decent lunch place if you don't feel like dealing with the crowds of Market Square, Portsmouth - plenty of parking right out in front. The decor is pretty, fresh, and bright. We had falafel, salad, chicken shawarma, and a kofta plate, all very fresh and tasty. Service was okay, prices reasonable. Drinks were hibiscus iced tea and Iced mint lemonade. I would go back to see how they handle pizza and the like, just out of curiosity. Bought a fresh baked pita to bring home.
