Always a consistent meal at Chiliâs and this location is no different. Waitstaff was attentive and margaritas are yummy.

While the road in front of my house was shut down for excavation for two days, I took a mini vacation. On Day #1, I had lunch at Applebeeâs.When I arrived about 1:00 PM, it was only moderately busy. I was seated promptly.Browsing the menu, I considered the Chicken Tortilla Soup at $4.50; however, I nixed it when I learned that it was quite spicy and had jalapenos. I ultimately chose the Tomato Basil Soup at $4.50. It was about a 15-miute wait for my meal. The soup was nice and hot. It was also thick and creamy with a distinct favor of the basil. It had a few croutons and some shredded Parmesan cheese on top. The soup was very good. Service was great. The place was clean. I rate this experience at Applebeeâs at 4.25. I would eat here again. Welcome to Thompson Tavern located in Dover, NH. We are a locally owned meeting place. Join us here in on Central Ave in historic downtown Dover on the Cocheco River overlooking the falls. We pledge to you to provide a clean, friendly atmosphere where the
We stopped in Thompson Tavern to watch a UFC fight and have a bite; I expected greasy bar food and sticky floors but was pleasantly surprised. My salad was excellent and my husband was happy with his sandwich; there was enough space that we were not crowded against the bar and were able to get drinks while we watched the fight. The roofdeck is awesome and has great views of downtown. All in all it was a comfortable spot to watch sports and have a drink.

I was really looking forward to the special night of dark beer tappings, even invited a few friends along. The beers, once we finally received them, were really good. But that is where the happiness ended. I was late to our table, so expected a little hesitation and delay when ordering. I was not presented with silverware, I had to ask for a menu, and when the waitress finally stopped by the table to take my order, 30 minutes after walking in and getting seated, she walked away to take care of other business.Ordered a Reuben, hard to mess that up. But.....you guessed it, I think there was more butter and oil in that sandwich than meat.Very disappointed the service was not even close to the quality of the beers.

Sonny's Tavern in the historic Dover, NH. A stellar cocktail bar & New American Style Gastropub. Stop by for brunch, dinner, or even just a drink. We have you covered.
Sonnyâs is a great spot to visit in Dover. The beers are diverse; the drinks are creative; and the food is flavorful and satisfying. Scott is the hardest working bartender around! Sonnyâs rightful popularity is its unfortunate downfall: it can be a wait to get one of their amazing drinks and the servers can be stretched thin trying to get to everyone. If you can be laid back and more go-with-the-flow, this joint is worth the stop.

We enjoyed our first outdoor meal of 2019 on the deck overlooking the river. The food was good, but I would avoid the lettuce wraps (a do-it-yourself meal that was obviously designed by someone who does not order it). The kids liked their cheeseburger and mac and cheese, and the adult buffalo mac and cheese could feed two easily. Nice casual atmosphere, but will tend to draw the drinking crowd.

We had a good meal here. The food was pretty good, the drinks were pretty strong and the outside seating offered a pretty nice ambience. I would definitely come back here again.

We ordered takeout and 2 meals were fine, cheeseburger and country chicken but unfortunately my meal left little to be desired. I ordered the steak tips and chicken fingers with fries. The menu calls for 1/2 pound of steak tips and a handful of chicken fingers. Well, the steak tips were 3 very small tips, one of which was so fatty I could not eat it, and the tips were less than they serve on the lunch portion of tips. The chicken was a few bottom of the barrel, tiny chicken fingers the seemed over cooked. On top of that the fries were soggy. I was not a happy camper for sure with this meal. I am glad that the other 2 meals seemed ok but I was left hungry. We want to sincerely apologize for the quality of your experience and would like to learn more. This is not the quality food or service that we pride ourselves on. Would you mind reaching out to [email protected] so we may personally follow up with you? We appreciate you sharing your feedback with us and look forward to speaking with you soon.

My wife recently asked me if there was one restaurant Iâve gone to in my life that could be within walking distance (weight gain was not factored in!) as a neighborhood Place what would I want it to be. Weâve been all over the world, weâve eaten at five star restaurants like the French laundry and weâve eaten at food trucks. Even though I kept thinking of better restaurants I couldnât think of a place that I would want closer than the Moose. Why? Fantastic tap beer collection, superb pub food. Excellent wings, excellent burgers, And excellent Pizza. I can think of better pizzerias, better burger places fancier places better wine lists but I canât think of a place that I can eat as often as frequently and not get bored of the food
