I eat at a lot of this tyoe restaurant because it is quick, filling and cheap.I would give it a 3 .5 stars. What i ate was fine, as good as most. They have a smaller array of food than most, but they have all the typical foods. I came away quite satsfied. If you like fruit and salad you can do well here. If you are over 65 ask for a 10% discount. I always find something to enjoy even if it isnt the greatest meal of my week. At $13 for a complete meal, it is not bad and it is easy.

My one and only experience with this place was with take-out for a group of health care professionals at the Hospital about a year ago. The food arrived and smelled quite good, but upon opening the packages, we found them to be loaded with bugs. Yes, I just said bugs. After calling the restaurant to complain, we were told that they would NOT refund the cost of the meals, but would be happy to provide credit for a future order. Who they thought would ever eat their food again, I have no idea. I urge you to stay as far as you can from this disgusting place.

We needed a place like this in Keene--- an upscale hangout spot with warm lighting, comfy conversation nooks and good music. Beyond that, Machina's Kitchen has a creative menu that still feels like comfort food, a guilty indulgence with a modern flair! Pair that with a well stocked bar & very knowledgable Beverage Manager in Becca.... the perfect combo! Now the toughest decision is.... do I go to the ArtBar, or the restaurant side???Maybe both??? Thank you!

Unsure how Marco Polo has slipped in the rankings, because it's far and away the best Chinese in the greater Keene area (and further). We've been going for 15+ years now, and it remains superb. I rarely go now outside of the holidays, when it's become a tradition to get take-out from them one night. This year was no exception, and quickly reminded me why other Chinese spots fail to match up. Teriyaki beef is flavorful, crab rangoons are tasty and crisp, and egg rolls are always good. I've never had better pork fried rice, it's perfectly well done here. Other standouts: the vegetables in dishes taste fresh, and the sweet and sour chicken is superb - light and fried and flavorful. Never regret a meal here, even if I only get back from time to time these days!

The people are very nice and the service was good. The food was fair to good. I found the beef sticks and roast pork fried rice were okay, the chicken fingers had more breading on them than I have ever seen before, the boneless ribs were over cooked (looked almost black) probably due to way too much sugar, and the wonton soup was good.

Other than the pho, these are all new Vietnamese recipes for me, even tho I'm a big fan of Vietnamese cuisine in general. The Meatloaf has wonderful texture and a surprising spice that I couldn't quite nail.... the egg yolk around the outer edge is another pleasant surprise The is well executed and has beautiful presentation--- but best of all is the spirit of this hardworking team. They have faced adversity and come back stronger. The service of the bartenders & wait staff says it all ...and they gave me a BIG BAR to sit at!

The meal was scrumptious; cooked as ordered and high quality. The price was very reasonable for the quantity received, we brought home enough for another meal each! We like the fact that they serve more than the standard veggie fare w/hibachi (onions, zucchini and mushrooms), and also include broccoli and carrots.

We love Thai food and are avid âfoodiesâ, this place is the real deal! Dishes are authentic and perfectly balanced! The âmoney bagâ appetizer shouldnât be missed. Our entrees were delicious but make sure you save room for the mango sticky rice dessert. The owner is so personable and the wait-staff attentive and charming. It clearly is a âfavorite go-toâ for the locals which is always an excellent indicator. We wished we had something like this closer to us.
