My family and I were driving from NJ to Maine and stopped here for lunch. Well worth the extra few minutes off the highway. WAY better than fast food. Outstanding hamburgers. Stairway to heaven specialty burger was delicious. My wife had a cluck burger on grilled cheese with bacon. WOW!!! Burgers do not come with fries but they are served perfectly neat with no frills. A burger that wonât make an enormous mess when you eat it. Cucumber Mint lemonade may sound gross but my wife and I thought it tasted amazing. My daughter had strawberry lemonade which was awesome as well. We each had a milkshake which was a perfect size. They were a little thin but we enjoyed that. Servers/owners were super nice and you could tell they were proud of their place. Small dining area so you may have to wait or you might get lucky. They have bar seating so if itâs just two of you itâll be easier to get a seat. Cool vibe in the joint overall! â®ï¸ â¤ï¸ And we even got mini chocolate chip cookies on our check!

We had been traveling the area around Portsmouth with our dogs and were so happy we found this place! We started out with the pretzels-- AMAZING! We even asked to keep the remaining dips to dip our truffle fries that came with the Smutt burger into. The Smutt burger was delicious and the truffle fries were to die for! You will not be disappointed in ordering these items! If I ever make it back to Portsmouth, I will definitely be returning here!

We had booked into the Quality Inn and wanted a place for dinner. This restaurant is within walking distance. The hotel receptionist highly recommended this place and she did not steer us wrong. One section, the Bratskeller, is a bar style restaurant and more laid back while the Dinnerhorn is a little more up scale. We ate crab cakes at the Dinnerhorn and they were the best I ever tasted. The whole meal was fabulous and so was the service.

Great food always begins with quality ingredients, but what really makes it stand out is the flair for flavor your chef has. If you're ready for an explosion of flavor in every bite of your food, you won't want to miss out on what Urban Farmhouse Eatery h
We had a late breakfast this morning. I had hash and eggs and my wife had French toast with bananas and caramel. Both entrees were excellent. The hash was homemade and the presentation was nice. The room was also quite nice. Lots of wood and brick with wooden tables that were very rustic. The only negative, very minor, was the order took a long time to arrive. We will definitely return.

The Golden Egg has been serving fresh, homemade breakfast and lunch since 1983! Everything is homemade. Our menu includes eggs, omelettes, pancakes, waffles, french toast, eggs benedict (many different varieties), muffins, fruit, homemade granola, etc. We
This is a small restaurant but don't n discouraged if there is a line. Their Eggs Benedict is out of this world. Anything you pick on the menu is freshly made and service is great.

Finally tried it out since the new ownership took over and waiting a while for the kinks I heard about to be worked out. Sorry to say that from the service to the food and even the obnoxious âregulars â seated at the bar it was all a horrible experience. Will not recommend or be returning.

Have been eating at rays for 30 years, usually very good, tonight the waiter was inattentive, got our order incorrect, spent 15 minutes talking to customers while looking up websites on his cellphone while we waited nearly 40 minutes for our appetizers to arrive and it wasnât busy at 415pm...then dinner finally came and my daughters grilled cheese was burnt I couldnât believe the kitchen would put this out or a water would serve it, but my 4yo daughter was so hungry at this point and with the appetizer mixup already we just scraped the burned part off so she could have something to eat. My onion rings were cold on my plate and so were my husbands lobster tails. We left as quick as we could decided better to go then complain further. Sigh...

The coastal classic design of this new restaurant at Foyes Corner in historic Rye, New Hampshire is the backdrop for a menu of classic seafood favorites complemented by contemporary dishes - a mix of locally sourced comfort food, healthy options (gluten f
Visited here while in town to visit friends and former work associates. They all raved about the place, and rightly so.The food, from the seafood chowder, to the salmon with sweet potato hash and deep fried brussel sprouts, was fantastic. Had a few Harpoon beers as well (not available where I live).Only minor complaint was lack of friendliness from both our waitress and the bartender (we moved to the bar area after our meal). Both seemed a little perturbed for some reason. We were by far a "needy" group, and we spent well over $500 and tip accordingly. Maybe they had a bad staff meeting that day.Would absolutely go again for the food, hope for better service. It wasn't terrible, just not friendly.Thank you so much for your review! I am so glad to hear that you enjoyed your meal! Our seafood chowder has won awards all over New England and we are so glad you loved it as much as we do!I am so sorry to hear that the service that night was lackluster. If you have any additional information about the date of your visit or who your servers were, I would love to look into the matter further for you. Again, so sorry that the service was not all it should have been. Hopefully you are able to come try us another time soon and we can really wow you! :)

There are many touristy seafood restaurants on New Hampshireâs hwy 1A....but if youâre ever just north of Rye Beach and need a great, fresh, seafood âfixâ - head to Peteyâs (it would be well worth the drive away from the crap you get in Hampton Beach!)Super fresh lobster (they catch their own) at average prices and excellent (albeit not stellar) âChowdaâ, as well as the typical litany of fried everything will satisfy almost anyone with a seafood bent.....
A new fun and funky brewery creating artfully minded beers. Our beers range from the hoppiest IPAs to easy drinking lite lagers and everything in between. All beer fans are sure to find something they enjoy. We offer snacks and sandwiches, but customers a
