We stopped in Alton to visit the Crafts Fair when we saw the restaurant It was a nice looking building and appeared fairly busy. We got there around 2 pm and didn;t leave until almost 4. The burgers we ordered were excellent, the appetizers (Irish Rueben Rolls) were outstandingThe downside was the service. It took a while for the waitress to get to us and then a long time to get the drinks and we waited almost an hour for the food to come. Fortunately we were talking with each other during this time, otherwise, we would have probably left the restaurant rather than waiitng anymore. If not for the food, it would have not been a place we would come to again.
I was so looking forward to going here but was sadly disappointed. The beer menu was average. Nothing you canât get anywhere else. Frozen onion rings, Boston clam chowder had nothing but one potato bacon bits and scallions. Burgers were not on the brioche rolls as promised, although the burger itself was tasty. Be careful of the create your own burger. At a dollar per add including red onion, it adds up to more than their specialized burger. We were excited to hear that the chef was from Worthy Burger, Brother Burgers is not worthy of much.

Had dinner with friends prior to theater on a Friday early evening. We were seated immediately at our reservation time outside with a pleasant view of golf course.Service was good, attentive, but not hovering. We had a variety of foods and were pronounced good but not stellar. My prime rib WAS stellar, cooked to perfection with asparagus and red potatoes.Their website SUCKS...really, no information other than hours...no menu, whatâs the point? Have someone ale charge who knows what they are doing, or at least, cares.Iâd visit again!

In planning a milestone anniversary party for my in-laws we were searching for a spot that had elevated cuisine, top notch service, & interesting wines. By choosing King Hill Kitchen we got all that & more. From our first interactions with Paul we knew we would be in great hands as he was prompt in returning our inquiry and transparent in his pricing. He helped us put together an outstanding event to acknowledge a special day. Paul even went above & beyond by procuring a few additional special wines that our family enjoys. We opted for appetizers & cocktails followed by a sit down 3 course meal. Though the weather didn't allow us to utilize the beautiful grounds & patio the main floor of the inn is warm and inviting and gave us enough space without feeling trapped. Yvonne and her staff did an outstanding job in pacing the meal and making sure every guest was satisfied. Our meals were flavorful, well plated and generous in portion. I certainly wouldn't hesitate to partner with them again.

We came here for dinner and it was good. Caesar salad was plentiful - ahi tuna seared nicely and the steak tidbits we good too - although a bit chewy. The broccolini was a luke warm at best, coarse, not blanched enough, the rice wasn't warm either.....no bueno. The service was very good. The garden which we overlooked was largely neglected, hmmm. I'm not sure we would go back, I do think it was a bit pricey for the quality. I think they need to up their game a bit, if I'm being honest.

The Coach House Restaurant is a unique experience in the charming town of New London, New Hampshire; located inside the historic New London Inn. Come enjoy exemplary cuisine prepared by Executive Chef Joshua Duda made from the finest ingredients available
My husband and I enjoyed a delightful meal at the Coach House for Valentine's Day. The service was great and the food delicious. I had such a hard time choosing a drink from the scrumptious options on the cocktail menu. The restaurant was nicely decorated for the occasion. We had the unfortunate experience of having to share our dinning space with a most obnoxious man who was sitting at the bar. He was extremely loud, used frequent strong profanity and had some inappropriate conversation topics. After complaining that the bars in Boston were better because they would let him drink more he told the bar tender they could play a game and "spin" for her tip. (It happened to be her birthday.) The manager did an excellent job of trying to discreetly get him to calm down and be appropriate but he was not having it and left in a huff. I was very impressed with how well the situation was handled and both my husband and I thought the manager did an incredible job with a tricky situation. We had a nice experience and will certainly return another time.

Well known pub in New London near New London Barn Playhouse and Lake Sunapee
This was our first trip back since the renovation, it was great to see it.There were three of us and we each ordered something different and everyone loved their meals. The French fries were outstanding, I had some with my sandwich. After trying one of mine everyone else wanted some too.I had the carrot cake for dessert and it was fabulous. As you can probably tell we recommend this place! The only negative thing I could say is that the restroom was like a refrigerator....very chilly in there.

I really like this place it is what it looks to be - a simple unpretentious pub serving good wholesome food, waitress had no airs and graces but was friendly, honest and made us smile. Lovely views on the one side. Place was busy with all sorts of groups and I can see why, if you want a straightforward meal then it's a recommendation.
