Oasis de Tendéa is a cottage of 4 exotic bungalows of Polynesian style nestled in the beautiful nature of Farino about 1 hour 30 by car from the capital Nouméa. Each bungalow has a master bedroom, a living room with dining table convertible sofa 2 single beds and kitchenette, a bathroom with shower and toilet and a terrace. The bungalows are located in a beautiful garden with a faré and carp basin and arranged access to the La Farino River flowing below the cottage. There is a great place where you can bath inside the river and a beautiful waterfall 5 minutes walk. Oasis Tendéa opened in March 2017 and won the tourism trophies of the South Province of New Caledonia in 2017.
Beautiful and peaceful place with 4 quality bali-style lodges. Little river and waterfalls nearby. You can cook yourself a simple meal in the lodge or get some good advice from the very friendly owner of where to go out and eat. No playground for little children here but in some kilometers distance is a waterpark at the village of La Foa. It has an restaurant attached where you can get some burgers or home made chicken nuggets for the kids.

We're a cosy ecolodge in the North of New Caledonia, we developp and protect our nature. You can visit islands of the region and taste sea food cook by local ladies.
Bungalows' comfort is limited, but that is to be expected: no hot water, all sorts of insects getting in etc. The location is fantastic, with crystal clear waters, and limited depth. Perfect for a stay with children. We went on a day trip on the island facing the beach, and we felt like Robinsons, with no one else on sight. Keep in mind that being close to the mangrove, you'll be assaulted by mosquitos. Bring plenty of repellent

Very friendly stuff, especially the man with glasses (sorry, I am so bad to remember names!) and Sebastian, who helped me to break my fear from diving. There is also lady across the road who cooks. Her name is Arlet and we ordered la bougna and a tuna steak. Very reasonable prices, great food and perfect service. I would recommend it. There are not very good shops in this area anyway. Zhe fish is fresh and meals are local. Camp is nice and clean and all the stuff is very friendly.

A camping on a very nice, natural beach. Lots of space between groups. Fire pits and a couple covered spaces in case of rain. Lots of cold water showers, basic toilets. Owners are friendly and accommodating. Usually, they will make rounds once or twice a day to collect the camping fees. Planning is necessary - the village is a good 15 min away and not many activities are available in the area. The mining museum is open only until 2pm on Saturdays and closed on Sundays.
