Would give 3.5 stars if possible. We were thrilled to find a Fredericton restaurant open on a Sunday night in Fredericton and tried dinner. It was very busy but we were seated quickly. The menu was diverse. We are not great judges of Asian food but selected sweet potato tempura (very good), tofu chow mein (good) and kimachi fried rice with pork (not our favorite). The food was served hot and fresh. We found that it tasted similar, possibly a spice or sauce that was common. We would try again and make different choices.

We've visited No. 1 Noodle regularly at lunch for their No. 1 platter (since it was called the "appeteaser platter" and the place was called Saigon Noodle), and have not been disappointed, until today (April 2), when it simply did not measure up. I've never eaten tough, gristly chicken before (the satay); the crispy veggie roll wasn't crispy and the veggies were stringy; the lettuce/carrot salad had developed some sort of dressing with a hint of anise; the fried wontons were greasy. I hope this was just one off day; I'd hate to have to take this off our list of possible lunch places. It was as though the restaurant had been taken over by people with no experience of Thai cuisine.

If you want a quick dose of flavourful Thai delight this is the place. It's a quaint little spot, no nonsense, just good food. Pad Thai is especially good, as good as any you will get in Thailand. Owner/operators are friendly, highly recommend!

Chinese, Korean, and real authentic Thai cuisine on the Main Street, Fredericton, Northside, since 1988.
Bad jokes aside, Chinese buffets are all the rage in Fredericton, but when I prefer something cooked-to-order (and closer to home) I always head to Sun Prince on Main Street in Fredericton's "north" side.Sun Prince has changed hands a few times since I moved to the area, but the most recent owners have taken the same five tables and given the restaurant a cheery new logo to go with some new menu selections. You'll find a few Korean dishes mixed in with the usual chicken balls & rice affair, and if you've never had Korean found then Bulgogi is a great place to start.I love that the food is always served hot, unlike most local buffets. You can see into the clean kitchen, and all of the staff keep their matching polo shirts clean (which says alot). My only knock is their egg roll, which is more like a Chinese version of a Samosa, and the filling is not my favourite. All of my other favourite dishesâilike the deep fried shrimp, deep fried pork, Bulgogi, spring rollsâiare on par with the best in the city.

I ordered take out from here and it was quite good. The order was ready very quickly. The food was delicious, but the portion was a bit small.
