The CDP of Verdi, California lies immediately adjacent across the state line. Both are in the shadow of California's Verdi Range. In 2010, the population was 1,415. Prior to 2010, the community was listed by the U.S. Census Bureau as part of the Verdi-Mogul CDP.

A group of us had lunch here and, although they told me the food would be healthy, I was surprised at the choices on the menu. While my friends all watched their dietary issues, I thoroughly enjoyed a generous-sized sandwich, accompanied by the best tomato soup I've ever had, and great coffee. As an Aussie visitor, I now realize there is more to the USA than junk food. There is something for everyone here - give the Great Full a try!

We had 1/2 doz oysters on the half shell, bone in ribeye (my wife and I shared) creamed spinach, au gratin potatoes, and the bread basket with fresh made butter were all excellent. Great atmosphere and the service was impeccable. You won't go wrong here.

As soon as you walk in, your senses are on high alert. You hear a noisy friendly place. You smell, hunger inducing, breakfast foods being cooked. You see a bright clean setting, then you notice mountainous plates of food go by. Could they get anymore food on those plates? Probably not. The booth we had felt comfortable and the silverware had a nice heavy feel to it. Very quickly our friendly server brought our piping hot food served on large heavy plates. Then to taste. I had the Ham & eggs and my spouse had the Country Fried Steak & eggs. The eggs were cooked perfectly. The huge pieces of meat were very good. The meals were served with a plate long side of buttery hash browns. Plus, Unlimited, like you could ever eat more, soft and thick toast. Adorned with a full size slice of melon, the presentation made us chuckle at the task ahead of us. That was, trying to eat all of this food. Our meals were $10.99 each, but we sure didnât need lunch later. I had the fresh squeezed orange juice, my partner a cup of coffee. Both got high marks on temperature and taste.

I have been a frequent customer here since it opened. There are many wonderful places to have a great breakfast in Reno but there is nothing better than Pegâs. Over the years my favorite breakfast has changed but I have never been disappointed or hungry when I left. The service is always friendly and great. I recommend Pegâs without hesitation or reservation.

I have to tell you about Boomtown Casino in Verdi. Nevada. I had an opportunity to spend a few days there after spending so many days inside my apartment in Reno due to so much snow. The Steakhouse was my first stop. Steak and lobster was $24.99. It was exceptional and as good as any steakhouse. The lobster was juicy and not overcooked. The filet was rare and juicy. The dessert was almost a baked Alaska!But, wait til Friday night! It's the lobster buffet! I had 5 lobsters, yes, 5! So good! My 3rd time to the buffet! I'll be back soon!

Stopped in for breakfast, super good food and service. The portions were definitely ample with a really good menu. Plenty of vegan and gluten free choices. The prices were very reasonable. We were staying in the RV park and walked over to the Casino/Restaurant for the $6.99 Prime Rib. Surprisingly it was much better than expected; excellent flavor and large. The salad, which was extra, was mediocre at best, but it was only a 99 cent add on. Definitely would go there again.

Stopped off from a recommendation from our friend. She was right the Bloody Marys are GREAT. We had quesadillas and they emerge good. Burgers looked good but no time to try. Great Service. Definitely worth a stop.

I eat about once every two months when I'm staying at the hotel. I've eaten here at all times of the day and night but can't say I've ever had dinner here but that's because I'm always happy with either breakfast or lunch. I usually eat here after a night of imbibing so the generous and delicious portions are good at getting me ready for another day or night fun. This place is a solid consistent place to eat and my wife loves the milkshakes.

Had high expectations since it called itself a Taproom, but was basically a restaurant with a few beer selections on tap. One I tried was not anything special. did have the double chocolate bread pudding and it was great. Bar staff not really friendly.
