The near otherworldly Himalayan kingdom of Nepal can trace its history back to the 7th century and the arrival of Kirati sheepherders. Today, misty temples perch on rugged ridges, monasteries peer over deep valleys, faded by centuries, and Kathmandu's Old City brims with ancient Buddhist temples and ornate palaces.

The River Fun Beach Resort flourishes just by the bank of Trishuli River valley with beautiful green hills surrounding it. The Resort stands at Kuringhat (99 km or 3 hours bus ride), midpoint of Chitwan and Pokhara from Kathmandu Valley and has been able to provide excellent services since the past 12 years. We have been providing river fun activities like rafting, canyoning, kayaking, fishing, and hiking as well.
River Fun Resort is a nice place if you are looking for some adventure or quiet time. Usually crowded on weekends and occasions for partying, the resort offers relaxed time on weekdays. From highway/parking, it's a 15-minute walk after crossing a shaky bridge OR a few minutes on zipline. The resort has a nice swimming pool, lovely river beach, lush green garden and rooms or tents. Rooms have white sheets and are clean. Food is good. They also offer river rafting. Avoid it on weekends and holidays if you are not partying type. Weekdays are quiet. Package (usually snacks, dinner, breakfast and lunch) is reasonable.

Jungle Sunset Camp is a best located hotel at Chitwan National Park, Nepal. It overlooks the beautiful Rapti River and the jungle of Chitwan National Park and has gorgeous sunset view. Elephant wash, canoeing passing by, grazing rhinoceros are the regular armchair view at Jungle Sunset Camp. We are resort based with outdoor related sports with features of camping along with water sports such as rafting, kayaking, canyoning, etc. We even have good food service and friendly environment with lots of other outdoor and indoor activities.
I had a river rafting booking from the mountain king adventure. The rafting was supposed to be of 2-3hrs but they gave us only for 25 mins. Also the group with which we were doing rafting was a family group and the operator of rafting didn't seem to bother when the males of that family group were drinking alcohol. The pathetic experience. Don't fool people. They waste your time and money. And no one seems to bother about it. Worst experience ever

Shreeban Nature Camp is just around 80 km from Kathmandu. It tooks merely 3 and half hour to be there. We drove till Malekhu and then cross Trishuli river, driving on the Malekhu-Dhading Besi road for about 9 KM we stopped at Baireni. Another 9 Km on dirt road from Baireni, we reached at Shreban Nature camp which is located on the top of Nalang, at an altitude of 1300 meter. It offers 220 degree of stunning panoramic view of the Himalaya, from Dhaulagiri, Annapurna to Langtang, Gaurishankar Himal. It is an ideal place for family outing, weekend holiday. If you are a nature lover, Shreeban is perfect place to be, out of hustle and bustle of the city.

Taj Riverside Resort & adventure Pvt. Ltd. located 90 km from the Kathmandu, Sunkoshi VDC-5, Mulkot, Sinduli -Bardibas B.P. Koirala Highway (Banepa-Sindhuli-Bardibas). The resort is indeed one stop recreational hub & best for stopping Refreshment, Entertainment, Lodging, meals, Adventure, Rafting, Fishing, Kayaking, Canoeing, Riding & driving, Hiking, an unique hub of the entertainment, Scenic Views , swimming pool, Cottage & Sunkoshi Valley.
On arrival thought the place looked good. Food was good but the room was a disappointment. Dirt on floor behind beds, one towel, light in bathroom did not work. Worst of all no hot water and none of the staff were concerned or cared. Manager looked surprised that I was not happy. Wouldn't recommend the place.

It is situated at the edge of the Rapti River near Chitwan National Park. We have cottages(attached bathroom equipped with 24-hours running hot and cold water facilities)spread in large area with flowers and plants that make you feel as though in paradise in our Jungle World. We provide you friendly service and take better care of you, We look forward to giving you Nepalese hospitality and sharing the jungle World with you.
After having trekked through snow for weeks, Chitwan was a great change and the RVJC was the best place to relax in. We were greeted at the bus park, greeted warmly by Mr. Nepal when we arrived at the resort, and by every member of the wonderful staff at every opportunity. We were very comfortable everywhere in the resort but especially on our balcony overlooking the river with the sounds of Chitwan. The food was excellent! We went on an all-day private jeep safari and followed that up with a 2-hour canoe trip and day walk with two excellent guides (thank you Janu!). We enjoyed a wonderful week at the RVJC.

If you’ve never slept outside, next to the sound of the running river, you haven’t experienced one of the most incredible things to do in Nepal. There really is nothing like it. At our camp, it’s like you’re camping in the jungle but really, the village is just behind you. All the buildings at the camp are new but their design is based on traditional Nepali architecture and is mostly built from recycled stone, wood, and slate. Rafting, kayaking, trekking…. we can take care of it all. It’s also possible to go for a day-walk up into the villages near the camp where tourists rarely go. And one of the best things about this place is knowing that just by staying here, you are contributing to one of the many wonderful projects that this team has been involved in, in the surrounding villages. Some of these projects include the purchase of 350 bins to set up a household waste collection system, the supply of books, pencils, and uniforms for the school, and painting of the school. Our river beach campsite is located in the convulsion of two beautiful rivers: Trishuli and Budhi Gandaki. Since it is nearby the main highway connecting Kathmandu, Pokhara, and Chitwan, it is easily accessible. It is an oasis for greenery where the river is the hart. The main goal is to stay as much natural as possible therefore our buildings or huts are built from natural materials like stones, bamboo, or mud.
We had such a great rafting trip with best adventures! The communication from beginning to end was excellent and they were really helpful throughout! We thought the cost of the trip was fantastic too! We stayed in a really nice little brick lodge which has amazing views of the river. It was a really peaceful place and all the staff made us feel really welcomed and well looked after. One of us was quite nervous as we hadn’t rafting before and the guide made them feel really safe and well informed throughout. It was a lot of fun! The actual rafting experience was very well organised with the guide giving us a clear safety talk first and there being extra staff members on the raft too. He spoke good English too which was helpful for us. Would highly recommend to a anybody else!

Hotel / restaurant / and jungle activities / own elephant
We spent a fabulous few days at Bamboo lodge. They provided us with totally packed programme of activities including canoeing, walking, elephant and jeep safaris. Raju, Arun and Aite were all fab hosts who were extremely knowledgable about the surrounding area. Our highlight was bathing Elephants and watching lots of Rhinos. We enjoyed the great food and seeing traditional Tharu dancing on the first night. Thank you for a great stay!
