The bright spot in Nelsonville on a Saturday night. The salmon and scallops were both expertly and perfectly prepared. Presentation was well done. Entertainment by request from a versatile guitarist. The student waitress was a bit confused on her second night on duty, but sweet and personable. A very pleasant anniversary dinner.

My husband and I along with friends stopped by the Full Brooks Cafe after biking The Adena biking trail. We surprised at the quaintness of the place. Their special was a roast beef sandwich on sourdough with potato leek soup. Our friends each ordered this...while we ordered a half portion of this. The soup was yummy while the sandwich was extremely delicious. We also ordered a scone and coffee which was very good. We were pleasantly surprised of the quality. We will definitely go back when in the area again.

Sweet spot for authentic americana atmosphere and service.
Clean, very friendly and good food. I had the open faced Turkey and my husband had the open faced meat loaf. It was terrific. We had the blackberry pie for desert and it tasted just like Grandma's! We went back again. I got the taco salad and another blackberry pie. Service was good like the first time. My husband had the reuben sandwich and peanut butter pie. He ate it all. Nice place to go for some good home cooked food.

Grill within Rocky Outdoor Outlet Store
When you're rolling off the bike trail this is a great place for lunch and you'll notice the locals think so too. It's one of those surprising good places to eat lunch. They have lots of choices, daily specials and even a small salad bar. Wraps, pulled pork and more are all good.

My friends and I went here to have some lunch after riding on the Hocking Valley Scenic Railway. A kind lady at the depot suggested this place if you wanted to have a great burger and fresh cut fries. It did not disappoint.
I had the cheeseburger with bacon, lettuce, onion and mayo with an order of fresh cut French fries. The basked of fries was huge, you could literally split it with another person. My burger was delicious.
My friend Lori had the mine burger which is what this tavern is known for. It was 2 patties, with spicy mayo, salami and two kinds of cheeses, plus whatever else you want. It was huge! She could barely finish and said it was delicious.
The atmosphere is cozy and it seats about 42 people. Stop here if you are in Nelsonville, it won't disappoint.

Surprising in a small town that they would offer so many Tofu dishes. I’ve been to places in the city that have far less veg. options. The Vegetable Bean Curd Soup is simple, yet delicious. The Chinese staples of. Egg Rolls, Fried Rice, Lo Mein, Chow Mein & Moo Shu are all available vegetable only. For entrees I recommend: General Tsao Tofu- spicy & hearty, large chunks of Tofu & some Broccoli, Kung Pao Tofu- also spicy, but with more veggies & peanuts, & Homestyle Bean Curd which is far less spicy & has the most veggies. Service here is usually friendly & efficient, but I always get take-out so I’m not familiar with the dine-in experience.

Way better than the Sonics in New Mexico. We ordered the jalapeño chocolate shake, peanut butter fudge shake, strawberry cheesecake shake, popcorn chicken, and Chile cheese tater tots. The shakes were thick, yet the right consistency to suck up through a straw. The flavors were spot on. There was one inch of actual jalapeños at the bottom. The popcorn chicken had the right amount of breading and flavor, and was not too dry.

This is hands down the best "fast food" type place in town! Yes - the pizza is made fast. But it's still fresh. And they never get a single thing wrong! I order online and so I've often thought for sure at some point they will mess up. Never. They get it perfect, hot and fresh every time! Great prices too. Love this Dominoes! It's often times my Sunday cheat day :)
