We were going for a late lunch but the main restaurant was closed & we were directed to the adjoining Snack Bar, open from 2 pm to 5 pm. With a much shorter version of their full menu, we ordered fresh lumpia, pasta bolognese & their Atilano burger ( see pictures)Initially thought that the 3 pice lumpia order was too much for one person but it was just right. Not much stuffing (donât know what was inside) otherwise, itâs OK.The Atilano burger was a thin dark semi-burned slab of ground beef with cheese. It was alright but not going to be in my top 10 list of favorite burgers. Pasta Bolognese was good, not bad. With 2 cans of Coke Zero total bill was P800+. Pricey The place, though quite small was nice. Comfy & cozy.Staff were attentive & kind. Will return later to try the main menu

Harbour City brings you the quintessential dimsum dining experience, akin to the tea houses of Hong Kong harbour. We offer the widest variety of dimsum dishes as well our signature dish, the Original Steamed Fried Rice. Harbour City Dumaguete also caters
Harbour City is unremarkable. Anyone who has taste real dim sum in China or Singapore will be able to tell you that whatever they serve there is not it. Thr restaurant is horribly overstaffed, more staff than customers, pushing carts around and giving out food. The food was bland and the prices were mediocre.
We invited friends living in Dumaguete to lunch and they recommended La Essencia Cafe in Hotel Essencia. There were 5 of us in two vehicles. Problem: very limited parking, hotel is in a busy street and parking is a real problem. It was a Saturday & guard at nearby closed establishment allowed us to park there. The menu was quite extensive, several pages long. Filipino, Chinese, western, they have it. Ordered what looked good on their menus complete with pictures. (See photos for what we ordered)Food was good, nothing spectacular but good. And total bill was really quite low. And place is nice, too. Just in the lobby of the hotel. Recommended
Redhouse Restaurant Taiwan Shabu-Shabu the famous hot pot in Cebu and is the first restaurant in Dumaguete who will serve the iconic and authentic savory broth from Tainan, Taiwan.
When I heard that Red House Taiwan Sha-bu Sha-bu is opening and having a branch here in Dumaguete, I said to myself that I will not be missing it. So after a week when they opened, I went and tried their foods This restaurant is actually good. The shabu-shabu we had was delicious.Their staffs were so accommodating. They do have wifi of course. The place is air-conditioned. You can also make your own sauce. But don't expect it to be cheap. If only they do serve a pitcher of iced tea or anything for drinks. The place is really not that spacious.Thank you so much for the review and suggestion sir. We appreciate it a lot. :) we love how you took the photos too. We have free hot tea or iced tea sir you can tell our crew on your next visit :). Team Redhouse is working on for the extension of the second floor hopefully done before the year ends. Hope to have you here again :). Please visit Lunch time we are giving a 10% discount on your total bill except drinks. :) God Speed.
We are the only Chinese Sichuan restaurant here. All the spices, sauces, peppers and peppers are from Sichuan, China. The chef is also from Sichuan. We will do our best to show 100% Sichuan cuisine, original!
This is a place to visit if you are in Dumaguete. Food is very good and they have a wide range. I am not normally a fan of Chinese food but this place is just so good, I will become a regular customer.

The worst rice I've had in the Philippines ... this stuff is the bottom of the bottom in terms of quality. One day in desperation took out some very tasteless kangkong, but haven't returned in a very long time. In fact, most provincial mall restaurants are just as bad, so CK has plenty of company.
